How to get birth name changed into another as per self choice?

Documents will carry the birth name but identification by new name need to be done. Also, can these changes apply for government identities as well?

What way to go?

Pl get a notary affidavit for name changing from a Notary advocate, then give a name-change ad in two (one English & other local language) daily news- papers. This is the requirement to get new passport or changing the name in existing passport. Hope it may serve the purpose.....

kuyunki log insaan aur pathar mein koi farq nahin jaante/samajhte. But I am inspired that a stone has been given value as displayed in AKSHARDHAM temple. I literally felt the pain the way it was described. Its very tough to be like that way in our life. Indeed beautiful meaning!

Let me keep a second thought as the initial step would be of less or free cost but getting changed on all documents might be costly. So I will consult my advocate for same.

Waise Janampatri dekho to pata chala ki mera naam Ni/Nee se nahi, Nu se hona chahiye. Dono mein kaafi antar hai. Maine naam bhi dhoond liya hai apna........hehehe......jo parijan dete hain, wo maine khud ki zimmewari par le liya :)

Nuri naam to accha hai, ek mombatti aur de do badi si. White saari brahmkumariyon se borrow kar lungi:topsy_turvy:.life khud banane se banti hai. waise main kisi bhi stone ko ornament ki tarah leti hun :)

Dropped idea of getting first name change as cost is the secondary factor, but primarily it could not be done for my educational or work certificates.
