if asked a question that which of the two can do more damage a large vehicle or a small one,a speeding vehicle or slow one...we tend to think a large and speeding vehicle will do more damage ofcourse.....we know it by basic rules of science....i.e. we have unknowingly explained a natural phenomenon by referring to present science...but how will one explain the patterns of icicles of ice hanging off the walls...this is one of the question which has led a scientist(Stephen Wolfram-inventor software 'Mathematica') to believe that by explaining the nature with complex formulas we have taken a path which has led us into a cul-de-sac...nature is more simplistic it's an iteration, an algorithm which runs itself over and over to create what we see as such a diverse, complex nautre.....he calls these basic units "cellular automata"...

Its still may not be time for students to throw away their Rasnick Halliday but who knows one day their will be no quantum, mechanical, electrical but figure eight, figure twenty seven

A rather coincidental to this post there has been a paper which is released today by a research group of University of New South Wales which says(based on experimental proof) speed of light which we assume is constant is not really constant...it is decreasing....einstein's theory of relativity says e=mc2(re yo square he kade mc no 2 smajh lo..einstein rovega),which considers c(speed of light-in vacuum)as constant ,energy(e) and mass(m)......so as a consequence of today's paper it seems theory of relativity has its limitations as is the case with Newtonian physics........also we could travel faster than speed of light which is not possible in einstein's theory...so we come the square one and what Stephen Wolfram is saying that" we have been led into a cul-de-sac" might stand its ground..though how eccentric and challenging it may sound.....

There are just too many scientists and every now and then they will come out with some thing sensational. Ofcourse there is lot of R&D taking place Worlwide some times we hear about some thing which makes headlines and then lost in the oblivion. Remember Super Conductivity which was so hot 15 years ago and what about that Torroid which was going to produce electricity for nothing. Where are all those inventions ? Hope this is not one of those. Keep an open mind but do not hold your breadth it could turn out to be another false claim e.g. making petrol from water or walking on water.
Admittedly my knowledge of physics is limited but have learnt from experience that not all claims scientists make hold water.

Well....we definitely cannot compare these results and observation to making petrol from water or walking on water (which are phenomenon in their own sense) what the today's finding does is that it explains the properties of what already exists....theoretical science have evolved by accepting new ideas and making them coexist with older ideas....though i definitely do believe that every now and then revolutionary ideas do change the course of human being....in today's world we cannot comprehend that someone could laugh at the suggestion earth revolves around the sun and not vice versa.....so its an ongoing hit and trial method ...lets hope something, benifitting for all of us, come out this...
