Hi all
One student is comming to NY for six month training in Hotel Management. He would like to know some econimic way of finding accomodation in that area. May be people who live there can suggest something for him.
Right now I think the best option is to share accomodation with other students or the paying guest etc. Please provide your inputs.
Thanks

Hi Ranvir,
I know a place in New Jersey. This place is just 5-10 miles from New York City.. The city name is Kearny, and street name is Belgrove Dr. . This place is very close to the Path train Station(Harrison). Most of university Student stays in this locality. I think the new person should be fine in this area.
Or he can try Jersey City(New Jersey) Area.

Best luck.

If this guy wants to stay in manhattam than some of my friends from India could PROBABILY absorb him. I suppose he has to pay something around $300-$400 per month. (that might seem very costly)...

If that seems like an option, mail me at ak2108@columbia.edu
