laughing buddha should be kept facing diagonally opposite to the door .

Sujata ji,
Do you beleive in all this seriously. In our college time, we used to have big rooms. We were three people in the same room, everybody with one bed and one table. Fourth person, came in with his bed and table. He insisted on having his bed and table in one specifc direction, which causes problem for rest three. We were suprised when he said about how magnetic field works etc etc. At that time we did not know about VASTU at all.

Do you have an idea regarding the effectiveness / genuineness of Feng Shui things like laughing Budha etc. Can these be bought from any where ? B'cos, now a days these are available even with roadside vendors. Are these equally effective or are there some specifications involved in making these?

Brahmin people tadke tadak sooraj ki taraf lota kar ke sooraj ko paani dete hai....Scientifically can sun get that water??? It is individual faith.. that helps him \ her for concentration or acheiving some set or defined goals.

Hali aadmi ne Raat ko khet main paani pe jaane ki kya Zaroorat hai... agar chizoo ko idhar - udhar rakhen se kaam chalta ho to Garahn beth kar khet main paani de liya karo... BTW not an bad idea....
