In my younger days when i had seen this question in an entrance exam, i was able to solve it orally in 30sec(1 min if you include reading time). So a 20yr old should take a minute and with every added 5years you can add a minute to the available time. Algebrically the solution is lenthy.
A man has a few flowers to begin with. He goes to 4 temples one after the other, before entering the first second, third and fourth temple he used to buy enough flowers to make the number already with him double, treble, four times and five times respectively. At every temple he submitted 60 flowers and after the fourth temple he had no flowers. what was the number he began with.
