1) Learn the power of Team work. A few ordinary people who can work together, can do more good than one hundred geniuses who cant work with anyone else.

2) Just Avoid Those who try to use Jat forums to promote themselves at the expense of our past, present, future.

3) Your second thought on any subject is usually better than the first so think before you speak or communicate.

4) Avoid criticism and comparision with others. it will only make you vain or bitter. Either way you will not be able to help yourself or your clansmen.

5) Be not afraid to seek better ways of doing things. There is no virtue in doing things the way they have always been done, merely in the name of tradition, such traditions are also another name for frozen creativity.

6) Dont start anything you are not likely to finish.

7) Nature has chosen you to be a Jat. Do not abuse this great gift by being arrogant and do not waste this great gift by being too reluctant or shy.

\8) It is not true that your nose is the highest part of your body. It is the brain. Do not be provoked into thoughtless, mindless and wasteful action by small, petty, thoughts, ideas or words.

9) Be curious about yourself, your life, your environment and your world. Curiosity is the beginning of real learning. It can take you to new opportunities beyond old frontiers of experience, tradition and habits. Curiosity can help you to learn new things and apply old knowledge in new ways. This will help you to succeed in competition.

10) Commit yourself to Continuous improvement, Culture change (evolution), Quality consciousness in the smallest of things, Firm foundation, All round growth, High Aspirations.

Remember as a Jat you have so much guts and energy that nothing can stop you from succeding - except yourself or another Jat.
Good wishes to all fellow Jats.

Amit bhai,
wonderfully sincere & realistically true gospels for all the Jats.
Many of us really need to remember these guiding principles in our day to day life.
I wish our Jats follow them!

cheers!

Very Good and let us hope some of us benefit from them. Ideals are like stars which we can not quite reach but navigate our life with. Keep up good work boys and shine like stars. Enthusiasm of youth does not recognise old boundries and will help propell you to new frontiers. You can always do better than what your fore fathers did. Believe in it and act on it. Elders should try and not limit the potential of youth with their old ways of thinking. Give them wings and see them soar to new heights. Positive feed back is very important in day to day life.

Dear Sujata
Lets go beyond honour and respect let us realise that exactly 50 percent of Jat power is bottled up in our women folk. Let us have the courage to treat them as our perfect equals. We cannot be a truly great community without equal respect for all members of our community so by all means let us enlarge the commandments but the 10 strengths were meant for those who want to meet the challenge of the immediate future with strength and dignity. There can be no dignity for those who lock up their women folk in thousand year old traditions. Communities like that produce Osama bi ladens and we know what the modern age is capable of doing to people like that. I would be very ashamed to acknowledge any Jat who did not treat his women folk as his perfect equals.
So the 10 new strengths are for those who deserve to be called true blue Jats. The inequality of women is not a new strength it is an old and disgusting corruption.

This message from DharmpalJi is directed towards all those who endorse these 10 strengths. So lets show(by actions, not words) our respected elders that younger generation has taken this challenging task head on! Thx---Rajesh Sindhu

Male Dominated society it used to be but not any more. It is soon becoming a female dominated society atleast where girls can stand on their own feet and they have financial freedom. It may hurt our male ego but the fact remains that women are stronger than men in all respects including mental capabilities, physical endurance and persistence (some times they take to nagging that is not their strength but weakness- men folk are more tolerant of faults in others). There was a time when man was expected to have higher education than woman to make a suitable match but boys now a days are quite happy to marry a girl who is more educated than him and so are girls to marry some one who is not as much educated as herself. The change is taking place now and those who are in touch with the grass roots know it. Whether it is for better or worse is a matter of opinion. "Now It is true that
a girl who wants to be equal to boys lacks self confidence." Otherwise why should she want to be equal if she knows that she is better than boys. The proof is in the pudding. Eat it.

Dear Amit,
Good thoughts on the New Strengths. Regarding rights to women, things are changing but we still have a long way to go. We all can make a big difference by being open on the issue and educating those who think otherwise (and challening ourselves also on the issue).

Appreciate your enthusiasm and wisdom. Keep it up!!

Warm Wishes,
