All members when they some across such material , should post it.

There is much history and material that is of interest to everyone in each of our families.

Do not feel shy to post. Please get over this initial "Jijhik" or hesitation.

All of us look foward to your contributin.

You may think it is small, it is not, it is very important.

Once you start posting you will enjoy it, and will be plesantly surprised how interested people are !

I would like to know how to get quality information as in Saurabh's post
on an old temple that exists in my mothers village. I will obviously get to hear folklore associated with the temple from villagers when inquired but where to go from there?

Document the Folklore, photograph it, post the photos,


History is basically just that, doumentation of oral folklore

Then , togther, let us advance the matter from that stage
