I can help who want to study in Australia and to answer the queries for same. here are some main things you should know about Australian students visa:

1. Students can work 20 hrs per week and full time in breaks. Never work more than 20 hrs during course classes.

2. Students who study 2 years full time in Australia can apply for Australian permanent residency . there are few things need to take care that try to study 60 points courses. If you want to study 50 pointer courses please choose ONLY REGIONAL area.

3. Students who will file application for permanent residency on/after 1st April 2005 need to score total 120 points.

4. If you are student of Masters/PhD then your depedants can work full time after starting of your course.

This is initial post so please let me know if anybody has any query related to this.

Thanks
Krishan Poria

Just to add little more information

Currently accounting courses are very popular as it is in Occupation in demand list(modl). Peple sudying acounting or MBA with a commerce background are eligible for Permanent residency as of current rules.

However those who want to study IT should goto regional areas only o get enough points for migration. Somesite are www.immi.gov.au. To get extra points for migration you can also do a hindi to english translation exam. Alternativelypeople who invest 100,000 australian dollars will also get xtra points

Those students who don't make 120 points can go for SIR visa, if they can make 110 points.

Hello Sandeep,

Marketing specialist is 50 pointer skill in Australia so you can't get Permanent Residency direct instead you have to first go for SIR visa. and you are eligible for SIR only when you do your marketing course from regional areas. So Its better if you can choose something like Accounts which is 60 pointer course. 60 pointer skill courses can be done from any area like Sydney/Melbourne. Let me know if you have further queries.

hello Sandeep,

If you get a positive assessment in Marketing Specialist and if you are under 30 years & get atleast 6(average & all bands) in IELTS. your points will be as following:

Skill: 50
Age: 30 (if age under 30)
Eng: 20
Experience: 05

Total: 105

now you need 120 for general skilled migration and 110 for SIR visa. You can get 5 additional for spouse if she also get +ve assessment in some skill. OR you can get 5 points for translator (NATI test) and if you are not married you can only apply for pool and your case will be in pool for 2 years.
I have to see your resume for final comments.

But you should try for Canada immigration, it takes little long but you can make it.

if you want to come Australia for studies and want to choose Marketing then you have to choose regional areas for your degree. if you complete atleast 2 yrs degree from regional areas then you will get extra 10-15 points but you may also loose some points in age. and you may end up having less than 120, so still have to go for SIR visa.

and you have to decide where you want to go.

Thanks
Krishan
