I FEAR
No loud words from me,
I deal in whispers and murmurings of a song.
You can read it in my eyes,
I got my own playhouse of infinite forms.
By the window aisle I stand,
To gaze at the misty surroundings.
I feel the grips tightening,
Of the mundane world around me.
I hear a distant flute, a melody,
Calling me, pulling me rather.
My heart starts thumping,
Beating harder and harder.
In that unbearable silence,
The ticking of the clock seems so loud.
A chill goes down my spine,
Because I fear, fear to lose myself amidst the crowd.
The crowd in which if you stand,
You can see just nothing beyond.
The crowd of which you are not a part,
To which you do not belong……………..
