Any idea who Mr Dahiya is ?

Could someone find out.

It would be wonderful to see jats interested in linguistics and our history

Panini was the Pre eminent Grammarian of all times. Conventional history dates him to 6th century BC, though he may have lived earlier.

For computer buffs, his directory structure is the foundation of cuurent database design.

Type Panini in your serach engince.

Also he attests to the Word " Jat' in the sixth century BC, hence also my interest.

He also cites a number of links of central asian words to the Jats today- Kanth, as in Taskkanth and so on

It will be wonderful to see more Jats taking interest in and reconstructing our history

Thanks you Saroj

He has been in touch with me.

Here is an example that I wish many more of our Jat boys and girls follow, and enter the field of Linguistics, culture and history.

Dr Dahiya is an excellent example to emulate

Our community has been weaklened because in part we do not know our history and culture.

Very few of our community entered this field, and our own history was written by others, and that too unfavourablly.

Often the Jat aspect was erased and replaced by terms such as Rajput or Brahmin, .

The original text itself is mistranlated.

We need more persns like Dr Dahiya, and more importantly ned to give the recognition thye so richly deserve and more often than not do not get !!!

Ravi
