Dear members,

Jats have shown some progress in the field of education but it is in pockets.A very few young people are able to work their way to a confident outlook, based on a good quality education.these are the people who's parents were on good jobs at better locations, where better education was available. But majority of our young generation could not and is not able to get excess to quality guidance/education.In the villages govt. schools have become defunk as hardly any teacher willing to take his/her job of imparting education seriously.same is the case with the young generation.........they just don't want to learn and rely on copying[which is supported by teachers as well].........they just want to pass the 10th exam by hook and crook so as to be elligible for a fourth class govt job.

I feel that successive govts in past have systamatically/or by default have ruined the total concept of education.Even the private schools, allowed to mushroom all around the state,[many of them patronised by leaders] have become business houses with poor infrastructure, high fees, donations and unqualified faculty.

My question is What went wrong and haven't we been left behind........never to be able to catch the front benchers?????????

Dear Dahiya Ji,

A very valid point made by you. At the time of independence we some how ignored the most important aspect of Nation Building and that is educating people. We did not established accountability in the government run institutions, whether schools or for that matter any other government office. It gave rise to a lot of corruption. It is because of this reason, most of the people wanted to join the government jobs. Lot of underhand money, power and no accountability. This has been exploited very well who lead us.

At the same time, it gave an opportunity for the business class to see it as a very lucrative investment. This gave rise to the private educational institutions. With non availability of reasonable size of land, the schools groomed in living dwellings, and were accepted as such for some reason or other in the garb of saying that we are a poor nation and can't afford the similar infrastructure as the developed nations. The main reason for accepting it at Govt level in all probability could have been the money or muscle power. This has ailed the nation and still continues to do so.

I for say find no other way to counter this but to educate people morally and a public awakening. How it can be done in a democratic set up with following the principal of non-violence is the subject for discussion. As many members have said, in various posts, we can do little things in a big way. I think that is what we need to do here.

You are right, we are very late. But it is better to be late than never.

Dear Dev,
Actually, nothing went wrong with the ordinary citizen. They are the politicians who are wrong. They just did not want us to be educated. They want this type of uneducated system so that they can fulfill their dreams. Because, if all the citizens get educated then they will ask for the developments made by these corrupt politicians and could be made liable for any mischiefs done by these 'white' dons. The only solution to this menace could be that whatever few educated people we have in our country, they would have to come forward and take the responsibility for this 'politics', without thinking for their personal gains.

You bought a good point to discuss.
Keep it up!!!!!
