I recollect this thread being posted earlier also by some one. Human brain is very amazing organ and still we know very little about how it functions. Words are nothing but refined forms of pictures. Like in a picture the edges are the most important components, same is true about words I suppose. Most of us know the famous skatch of Gandhi ji where one can make out his identity only by his glasses and a line about forehaed.. One need not look at the entire face of a person to recognize him/her. My personal observation has been that its the lower half part of the face which more important then the upper half.
