BTW, kis company me kam karte ho...I was in Bangalore in 1999-2000. I used to work for TekTronix and my office was on St. makrs raod...residency road and st marks je junction ke pas....I love that city very much...per ke karun...USA aane ke chakkar me fas gaya :D

I always believe that Hanuman was a great human being and not a monkey. But not many people think so.

I have a very interesting question:- jitne bhee bandar( Sugreev, Bali and others) hue hain unki wife bahut beautiful hua karti hai...and they are not monkey.

Any idea why their ladies were not monkey face and why did they not have a tail?

Prashant Bhai, Mujhe Ramayan ke thodi knowledge hai and I believe that Valmiki Ramayan does not have all these nonsensical and illogical things.

The reason I asked this question is because, as said by Sateypal Deshwal ji ye sab kapol kalpit kahaniya hain. and hame yu hee kisi bahaman ki manghadant bat pe vishwas nahi karna chahiye. In logon ne Hanuman jaise Mahan Atma ko bandar bana diya hai. jhuth bolne wala koi na koi galti kar hee jata hai ye log bhee unki ladies ko bandar banana bhool gaye. And this is a big proof that all these are false stories.


Naag,vanar etc were differect kulas(VANS) in the old time. Like Ram belonged to Raghukul, aise hee Hanuman was from VANAR kul. Hanuman, Bali, Sugreev koi bhee monkey nahi thaa.

No, Human can not marry to another species. It is the most disgusting and impossible thing to even think about.:eek:

I wont be able to qoute any para of ramayana as i dont hve that info but this is a well know fact(or fiction). This is mentioned in Hanuman Ashtak too as well as Hanuman's Aarti (u can find both in any hanuman chalisa):

bandhu sameta jabai ahiraavana lai
raghunaatha pataala sidhaaro
devihin puji bhalI vidhi son bali
dehu sabai mili mantra bichaaro
jaaya sahaaya bhayo taba hi
ahiraavana sainya sameta sanhaaro

Now how truthful, all the ramayana is, ye to Ram hi jaane. Btw, if anyone has watched Ong Bak-The Thai Warrior, it has a fight move called as ‘Hanuman in Lanka.’ Ramayana is known as Ramakien in Thailand and is their national epic.

But, its not only us Hindus who have given status of God to Humans born on the earth. We all know Buddhism is followed by so many asian countries and its originator was our own Siddharta who is known as Buddha. Similarly, Jesus Christ was a human and revered by Christians. We still have our original gods too viz. Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh apart from those born on earth

I am not sure whether all these characters of Ramayana existed or not but the preachings are wonderful and morals worth emulating and that should serve the good purpose.
