Politics has become too complicated a game. Its changing far too faster than what even hard core politicians can think and understand. Strange permutations/ combinations take place and grab power. The very BJP which had been opposing Akali Dal and National Confrenece, shared power with them. Chautala Sahab also joined hands with BJP to share power. Let us forget about moral in politics as no party can claim to be having that virtue. Politics is becoming like mining or collecting water in desert where every drop matters. This is why smaller parties are having more premium and can bargain for ministerial bearths. Jats votes will always remain divided in Haryana, come what may. This leaves others to swing the fortune of politics. Its very unlikely that BJP will support Chautala unless there is strong wave in his favour. BJP will try its best to emerge as single party, though the chances of its gaining power are very small as far as I can see. peope like Mayawati hardly have any base in Haryana. Only party which cuts across all sections of Haryana at the moment or even in near future, is congress. Chautala Sahab has either very strong supporters or opponents. This is not so with congress. Unless Chautala Sahab comes with very innovative tricks, chances of his coming in power are very bleak in my view. Even cunning leaders like Advani, Vinay Katiyar are failing badly. Politics of winning elections by default is fading very fast lately. Winning elections and running government are becoming separate compartments in today's politics. Another new trend has emerged during last few years where Rajya Sabha seats are now almost on auction for the highest bidders. No wonder people like Vijay Mallya, Ambani etc are taking that path. Time is not too far when almost 70% Rajya Sabha seats will be via this root.

I HAVE PITY OVER THE PEOPLE WHO THINK CHOTALA SHOULD COME BACK AND THE PEOPLE WHO THINK CHOTALA WAS/IS A GOOD NETA.


These people are living in a big illusion. They dont know the truth, and simply they dont wanna know the truth. Chotala is the most currupted man India has ever produced, the 1500 cr. assets caught are only worth a preview, the whole trailor is yet to expose.
His vast properties in Australia and NZ are yet to be nabbed, his foreign accounts holding millions of US$ are yet to be sealed, his biggest kaands (from Teacher selection scam to Sonepat's 24 village massacare) are yet to be disclosed. And if someone thinks how do i know all these things, then again i'll have pity over him for being in the Dark even now.

These pro-chotala people wont find a place to hide their face when they'll come to know how many blunders he has given to Haryana.

Courts decided in the Jessical Lal case also. And this is one case that got limelight, and I can mention it to make my point. Do I need to tell you how many other "Jessica Lal's" were denied justice?

There is a backlog of several decades of courts cases in India's legal system.

On the top of that, who can overlook a Politician's might and control. No one knows till date what happened in the Bofor's case. To top it up, everyone known about PV Narsimha Rao's landgrabbing in AP. To add insult to Injury, people deify Sonia Gandhi and none other than the Congress is in power.

The legal system in India is in shambles. And you want the same legal system to try a leader like Chautala.

When I think of Haryana, the face of a poor hardworking farmer shows up in my heart. I remember an incident from my childhood. My Nanaji and I visited this really poor family. The guy had 4 children (one died later on), and one buffalo. It was summer season. Most cows and buffalos do not lactate around that time of the year. Everytime I would visit this family, this gentleman would always get me a glass of warm milk. I do not know how he managed it that day, but from somewhere, he did get me a warm glass of milk. I remember his children's dry lips. God knows when they had some milk last time. But, I was treated the same way with all due love and respect, as I always was.

This was a verbal carricature of an average hardworking farmer from Haryana.

I understand that you have a very good job in the UK, and you have all the good things in life. Back in India people may not have the means to take their loved ones to the nearest hospital, when they are sick, but I am sure you do not have a problem hopping on a flight and flying back home to attend some "All India Jat Conference." Probably your good fortune has made you immune and desensitized towards the agony and suffering of our poor farmers.

That is why you do not refrain from addressing a thug as "Ji," and make life easier for him by letting a "failed legal system" decide his fate.

Government has let us down. We the middle class find our way out of our myseries. But a poor farmer has to live with his fate. When corrupt leaders fill their pockets beyond their seams, it affects us the least. The worst affected is the poor farmer whose cause we have abandoned for good.

It is agonizing to hear people sing fables of Chautala's might. The fact is that all evil and might are humbled on the judgement day. The allied forces did not even have to put a gun on Hitler's head to get rid of him. He did the job for himself and saved them us the embarassment. I really do not give a rat's a** about Chautala's might. he might humble me. But what would he do when his judgement day comes. Then all his might and power won't be of any use for him. No one can humble eventuality.

There is something seriously wrong when we fear our elected representatives. Gone are the days of Kings and Queens. We supposedly live in a society where everyone is equal. So what is the fear for?

Then why all the respect for Chautala and all the disdain for a poor prostitute?

Don't know where to begin and where to end on your comments. First of all, I don't agree at all with your views as you have no clue about me and my comforatble job. Your words can not be taken as an indicator of your sensitivity to the cause of farmers as your actions don't say so. Now few clarifications about me and my lack of sensitivity;

1. I have spent 90% of my life in India and 50% in my village till date. I wonder what the corresponding figures for you have been?

2. I have invested atleast 50% of my earnings in my village. Let us see how much you will be doing for you village.

3. I left UK and moved over to India when I was just 23 and spent good 25 years there. I had all the options of settling in UK or USA even at that time. I am moving again full time by end of July and will be spending good 5 days per week in my village among farmers. Wish you join me under a tree some day in the middle of the heat of June and see how much you can do..

To me your words are empty till you match them with actions on the ground. Raising voice on Jatland is easier than on the ground. Wish you see me some day in real how voice is raised on ground... I hope this should be enough on Jatland..rest on ground when we meet...
