What I feel is that this generation will hardly get lined ... but we can hope from the coming generations. So better that we have etiquette as a subject may be optional in the smaller classes, to irrigate them from the beginning. I was planning to suggest this thing to be part of classes in JJ.

I heard a comment sometime back...India is a open toilet..Bahut sharam aayi kyun ki baat saach hai.

Just to give another incident that this kind of behaviour exists even in the educated class.

We had gone to Ranthombore National Park for safari. Along with us we had a couple and their kids. It was mentioned to be quiet and not throw any rubbish in the forest. These kids were loud and throwing chips packets.

In the end we couldnt take it and we told the kids off, but the amazing thing was parents were sitting like a dummy.

Where is the pride? Where is apnapan?

Anyway now I had a rant, I'm feeling better.

Dev Sahab Namaste first of all..
U r absolutely correct… actually our country is suffering from very severe disease dats the wrong attitude and mentality. I also feel to upload such posts and discuss. I am also very disappointed to see all this but I come up with no solution. We cant change those ppl through this forum or any such discussion. This is a fact.
I have a question : do all of us not do all such craps… may be lot don but still we the Jat Landers do this… I am not talking abt this open toilet only… m focusin on common day to day behaviour.
If we really want to change this then the only thing we can do is changing ourselves.
This is ur greatness that u said ” mein bolya bhai galltti hoggi aage dhyan rakhkhunga...and we moved on.” Otherwise how many of us would have replied the same. And these ppl can not be change within a tick of clock. It will take time… is a very slow progress.
In short I want to convey if we really want to change then the very first step is to change ourselves. We need to show that change everywhere even while talking here n from now itself.

Well, I have seen it written everywhere; "zurmana, zurmana - fines, fines" - and often wondered. But, the problem is with the implimentation of such writings.
What is really interesting; the enforcement officers don't seem to be taking much advantage of this great opportunity for some extra income (by bargaining those fines to warm-up their own pockets even, as expected anyway???)

jitu galat baat...dnt raise finger at present generation. infact buddy, i find dis generation far better. i havnt seen any of my frends opting for urinating in public, no matter how long is the drive. they rather look out for McDs or sum other joint on way...bt of course dis civic sense cnt b expected frm illeterates...

Jitu Bhai....THIS GENERATION will only USE TOILETS to show their ettiquetes otherwise current n coming generation are completely shameless....so far educating the students about manners is concerned i'd started n did it to the class i took in my last visit to Barhana but as you said it i also strongly agree it should be on regular basis....i'll try to devote more time towards this.

Kaal baat hum Decency immune saan ke...?

Problem is at the root level. It'll take time to go off. If we create nuisence and litter anywhere becuase we have seen our parents, friends, relatives or teachers doing so.
If we have to make a difference and want our surrounding to be clean, we have to set a right example for our next generations.

I dont think by putting fine or punishments help much, There are fines for drink n drive and for mobile use while driving but still people do it openly.

We want our kids TO DO WHAT WE SAY BUT DONT DO HOW WE DO.

Its a slow process and things'll take time to improve. We all have to take responsiblity collectively and we have take a pain to improve ourselves first.
Rest will follow the Trend.
