    5. What is the significance of the following: The year is
1978, thirty-four minutes past noon on May 6th.

12:34 5/6/78 : if the increasing order thingy aint right then I've naother one in mind:

1+2+3= 6 (sum of 2 digits of hrs and 1 of mins)
2+3=5 (sum of 1 digit each)
3+4=7 (sum of 2 digits of mins)
1+3+4=8 (sum of 1 frm hrs and 2 frm min)

Well, wot I'm trying to explain is, the numbers in date are sum of 2 or 3 digits from time...(makes sense??)
    :D:eek:

    and cowboy one.

Well tried another version...for the time and date riddle..

I must appreciate ur analysis... Good
These kind of problems can have many answers... they r simply interview question so even if with a wrong ans u can convince the interviwer then job done... isnt it ?

One another ans, seems silly but convincing in rapid fire is this time came once in the history... same time can not not be repeated again.... i mean every moment is unique It depends upon how u explained

    Try this plz

There are four people in an adventure race that need to get across a lake. They have a small canoe. The rules say that only the slowest person in the canoe can paddle, only one or two can be in the canoe at a time, and they must all cross in the canoe. From practice, they know that:
Ann can paddle across in 1 minute.

Bill can paddle across in 2 minutes.
Sue can paddle across in 5 minutes.
Mike can paddle across in 10 minutes.
How do they get everyone across the river in the fastest time without breaking the rules?

    Logic---- Filling the room

An old man wanted to leave all of his money to one of his three sons, but he didn't know which one he should give it to. He gave each of them a few coins and told them to buy something that would be able to fill their living room. The first man bought straw, but there was not enough to fill the room. The second bought some sticks, but they still did not fill the room. The third man bought two things that filled the room, so he obtained his father's fortune. What were the two things that the man bought?

I think a lighter and a packet of dhoopbatti should do the trick. 1 packet of dhoop can fill the room with smoke...kyon?
