I would like to know if Yuvrj singh is Jat or ?. As per my research I have come to know that he is Jat and his gotra is Bhundel. Please find hereunder several liks which support what I say. Still I would like to know what do you guys think.

Sanjeev is exited about Yuvi’s JAT connection …and there is nothing wrong in this… here we are on a CAST specific community portal JATLAND.. Yuvi is Indian…but he is called as Punjab da Puttar…Lion of Punjab by cricket commentators so many time… so in excitement or in curiosity if a member of JL want to know his Clan …usse Yuvi k Indian hone pr koi aanch na aati…

How does it matter if Yuvi is jat? He will still be a cricketer playing for India.

It really does not matter if he is a Jat or non Jat? He did well in 20/20 game and was rewarded more than what the effort would have called for. Good thing to promote a sports person.
However to the best of my knowledge he is a Rajput by caste. I remember this question had come up when he first arrived on the cricket scene as well as when his father made a famous new ball pair for Haryana State with Kapil Dev.

Hi All… We are really proud of Yuvraj Singh, he is a gem.
But we can not conclude anything in such kind of threads, I suppose.
Just see the replies… Someone told that he is a Jaat then he became half Jat(as only father is jat) then he became a Punjabi and finally a rajput but he cant belong to these many castes… so what is the conclusion…
The conclusion is we are wrong somewhere and have a little knowledge abt this.
So its better we can close this thread coz its nt gonna conclude nething.
Chalo maan letein hai, he is a jat. Okay now how can we feel more proud ? Can we express it or will it give us extra pleasure… nope .
The only thing is we will try to prove in the society that he belongs to the same community which I belong to … and that is dikhaava (show off ) .

I have a lot of south Indian close friends… I am a part of their discussions also coz their also I feel more secure and I feel my society and community is of the people who r gud to me my well wishers … who understand me, after that if they r south Indians or SC/ST aur muslims doesn matter… even those muslims are as close to me as my jat brothers.
Please try to understand the message I want to convey . please don’t take it otherwise.

Bhai Saahb mein koi jaaton ka dushman nahi hoon... mein bhi ussi community se hoon... aur ek baat bataiye jaat chaye achha kare ya bura ... chaahe unme 1000 buraiya ho, mujhe farak padta hai kya ??? agar woh bure hai toh mera kuch bigad jaayega kya ya phir acha karne se mujhe kuch fayda hai ???
Mujhe koi farak nahi padne wala hai, chaahe jaat community ho ya phir JL ya koi aur... Aapne meri baton ko galat dhang se liya... i too love jats... mein bhi wohi bhasha bolta hoon jo aaplog aur same culture n lotta more similarities, so i do have a spl attachment with jats. Mere yahan galti ginvane se koi nahi badalne wala, infact i think ek bhi Jlander nahi badlega. But bade bhai mere kehne ka matlab tha ki humaare smaaj mein bahut kuritiya hai... bahut gandapan hai abhi bhi, humlogon mein bhi bahut hai issliye better hai ki discuss karne se achha keval 1 achhi aadat ko palle baandh lo.. i mean kuch karo agar sach mein itni chinta hai jaton ki.... unki durdasha ki... maien pehle bhi kuch suggestions diye the par koi reply nahi aaya...

My only and only motto to highlight all this jat and all is to eradicate this caste system from our society... Jaati ki jarrorat poorane samay mein thi... aur koi bhi jaati ko superior/inferior nahi mana jata tha... kaam ke hisaab se ye vyavastha kari gayi thi... jab jaroorat thi tab chalta hai... aaj jaroorat nahi hai toh bhi kyoun ghaseet rahein hai...
Aur bhai saab jahan tak mein samajhta hoon change prakriti ka niyam hai... aur aap/hum kitna hi rok le, aaj iss change ki jaroorat hai aur ye hokar rahega... aaj se 40-50 saal baad koi caste wagarh nahi hogi... pata nahi mein galat ho sakta hoon par meri samajh aisie hi hai... aur agar mein aaj apne jaat bhaiyo ko dekhta hoon toh bada ganda lagta hai, ki iss daud mein subse peeche rehne walon mein ek hai...
