Members may have a look on the following JAT WIKI page on Gusainji (गुसांईजी):
http://www.jatland.com/home/Gusainji
Brief -
Gusainji (गुसांईजी) is kuladevata of many communities in India and Pakistan. Gusainji temple is situated at village Junjala (जुन्जाला) in Nagaur district in Rajasthan. This temple is very ancient and of historical importance. Fairs are organized here twice on chaitra sudi 1-2 and Ashwin sudi 1-2. Followers come from Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Both Hindu and Muslims come for worship here. Hindus call the deity as Gusainji Maharaj and Muslims call as Baba Kadam Rasool.
Request - Jat Gotras who visit this place may write so that it can be added to WIKi. That may help to find missing links of history of the clan.

Laxman Burdak
Dalip Singh Ahlawat writes that Yayati was the ruler of Jambudwipa (Asia). One theory relates Yayati with the origin of Jats. There is a well near Sambhar lake in Rajasthan known by the name of Devyani ka Kuan in which Devyani was pushed into the well due to enmity and Yayati had rescued her from that dry well.
Sevaral jat clans are associated with Sambhar as rulers. Please read on JAT WIKI at

The Formatting of Glossary of Rajasthani Language has been changed.
The page on '''Glossary of Rajasthani Language''' had become too long. It takes long time to open long pages on Wiki. So it has been formatted with different style and created separate page for each alphabet. It is now easy to manage and search the words.

Personal and geographical names in the Gupta inscriptions
This is a book by TEJ RAM SHARMA formatted and taken on Jatland Wiki.
Dr. Sharma has produced a first-rate study on the subject and has covered himself up with glory. Dr. Sharma deserves commendation for attempting an analysis of the culture of the Gupta period from an altogether new angle. His fresh approach has imparted a living warmth to the socio-cultural life of the period. Dr. Sharma has definitely made significant improvement upon our understanding of the Classical Age of Indian history.
Mention of Guptas as Dharan Jats
There is Mention of Guptas as Dharan Jats in this book on pages 16-17. I reproduce content from http://www.jatland.com/home/Personal...ngs_and_Queens
In this context we must note that Prabhavatigupta, the daughter of Chandragupta II and chief queen of the Vakataka king Rudrasena II describes herself as belonging to the Dharana gotra in her Poona and Rithpur copper plate inscriptions. Dharana is clearly the gotra of her father, as the gotra of her husband is specifically mentioned as 'Visnuvrddha' in the Chammak copper plate inscription of Pravarasena II.
This Dharana gotra has been variously interpreted by scholars.
Jayaswal takes it to stand for Dharan, a Jat clan found in Amritsar, and on the basis of the Kaumudimahotsava he concludes that Chandragupta I was a Karaskara or Kakkar jat.
This view has been supported by Gokhale.
Jayaswal emphasizes the similarity between the name of the Dharaniya jats in Ganganagar district of Rajasthan and the Dharana gotra of the Guptas. Chandragomin's grammatical illustration "ajayat jarto Hunan" (The jarta or Jat king defeated the Hunas) has also been interpreted by Jayaswal to refer to the Gupta ruler Skandagupta's victory over the Hunas. Thus the jat origin of the Guptas has been a favourite thesis of Jayaswal.
Readers may identify origin of many Jat clans in various chapters.
