I was quite surprise not to see Sehwag playing the first ODI in Srilanka. I also did not read any reasons on the web.

Can any one tell us why he missed it?

sir he did not play due to some injury. Dhoni said in a press confrence that.

Sir he got slight Injury during practice session although he could have play but Dhoni said he don't want to take any chances and he will be playing from next match.
