Then Mukesh Samota Ji posted her e-mail....Now if you know that someone has been writing to Moderators against you, Will you support that member? Still i discussed this matter with Satyeshwar on G-talk. Now like an Idiot should i paste that chat session over here to prove that i DID DISCUSS this matter? Mkesh happily pasted her e-mail here because Shweta just complained about members who are disliked by Mukesh Samota himself? If his name was in her mail, i gurantee he would never have pasted that message here.

I personally feel that a member like Shweta doesn't need anybody's UNWANTED SUPPORT and what upsets me more i thought she is as strong as me:D I thought she can fight on her own. She might upset on reading this like she gets upset on OUR other posts she complained about, so a simple question- DO WE REALLY HAVE TO BE LIKED BY EVERYONE?

I support Satyeshwat on this issue.....

I feel she took infraction in very revolting manner. Every one here gets infraction. But people take that in sportive way and move along, they don’t ask for a ban or a name change.

Mukesh it would have been better if you would have pasted the post from where all this started not just the mail from Shweta. As that’s the starting point which made all this hatred in the Jatland.

And yeah, I feel we should be fighting over the sin and decide the sinner later.

maie bi janta hoo ki moderators ka job itna asan nai hai aur galti hoti bi hai.. lakin jo bi rules ho sabi members ke liye ek saman hone chaiye..aisa nai ki ek to warning de ke chod do aur dusre ki wat laga do.. pichle do char time mods ne aisa hi kiya unhone aise kai unwanted replies ko to ignore kar diya, they took no action lakin usi particular matter maie dusre member ko yaa to infraction de diya ya phir ban kar diya..

Law se upar koi nai hona chaiye..jo bi galti kare us par action lena chaiye chahe koi bi hoo & yehi baat Shweta kehna chah rehi thi apni mail maie aur reply maie Mods ne sirf bann wala button daba diya..

And now I find it useless that you can be able to distinguish between 'being against the moderators' & 'being not convinced with the ways & means of voluntary application of irrational policies'.

It isn't so difficult to apply some rational policies, but it's a sad fact that more than half of the moderators are mere spectators/sleeping beauties !

Finally, I quit.

I no longer wish to be part of this portal, even it would fill me with agony to see my name appear in the list of members at such a place.

Kindly change my name on my profile to 'Shailja Singh' and accord me a Ban or whatever and absolve me of the sin I did & kept on believing that you people will evolve & come out of the shell of redundant policies.

There is one thing which is common here. Satyeshwar has this sick habit of writing bad about people when they are banned and can’t even reply back. He thinks he can say anything and get away by closing the thread. Previously when I found loopholes I wrote about it openly in JL thread “Is fakeID a solid reason to make you banned permanently”… but Satyeshwar never replied and then when I almost forced him he banned me by forming a sudden new policy of “From now on, we will change everyone's names as per their request but the name change will come with a ban of 1 year” [Source: http://www.jatland.com/forums/showpo...6&postcount=83]

I won’t go much into details about what actually happened, for the whole story one can read posts 9, 10, 11 here http://www.jatland.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26258. I tried to play down my disappointment with Satyeshwar’s actions then… he had even called me a ‘joker’. This ultimately left a mark in a way and I started joking in almost every thread since then. I also targeted Mr Dev Dahiya (the real ‘bhediya’ @ JL) and Mr Jit Takhar (the biggest snoop @ JL) for their fake personalities (not fakeIDs) on JL. I have proofs (in abundance) for the same. Satyeshwar’s action hurt me then but I moved along and did not crib much about him adamantly and fallaciously banning me. Whatever justification I asked I asked through personal emails. I still have then along with Yahoo server’s timings and a few JL activity screenshots. Did I ever make them public??? What kind of stupid way was that when Satyeshwar used excerpts from Shweta’s email (personal conversation) to support his lame argument? This is the second time that I know he’s played as a trickster. Picking up one sentence and casually ignoring the other much related ones. Sick!

Coming back to Shweta’s case. According to me she’s one of the most genuine and worthy members of JL. And, it is well known. I won’t write much about her otherwise JL server would crash down. A few days back, Shweta asked Satyeshwar to change her name and ban her according to that ‘then sudden’ policy. Look at Satyeshwar’s words again “From now on, we will change everyone's names as per their request but the name change will come with a ban of 1 year”. Now what is he doing? Why on earth was this policy formed and announced if it was not to be followed? How wrong it was I had asked that time also… but we all moved on… and now I have the another related question to Satyeshwar… “Why don’t you follow your own policies?”

I don’t know about Satyeshwar in person but I’ve heard from many people that he’s a nice guy. Maybe he is and he’s worked just okay as an administrator… he HAS MADE SOME HORRIBLE DECISIONS that have no base…. banning Shweta for life is major one of them. She was ready to take one year ban for the name change… Why do you form such policies when you don’t really mean it, Satyeshwar????? Time and again you have acted in haste without even giving it much thought.

Why do you want Shweta to write to you about her coming back here on JL? Why DON’T YOU APOLOGISE TO HER for not working in accordance to your own policies and making her a scapegoat?

Why did you copy-pasted excerpts from your conversation with Shweta in PM or personal email? If you were right you could have convinced people with your words… you would not have gone CHEAP.

When members are wrong and out of control then they are banned… who bans you when you make atrocious mistakes like this?? What Law and order do you talk about??? For your own sake… retrospect!
