Of all the things that tax a man's patience, there's nothing to compare with a stuck zipper.
Why were 3 battles fought at or around the city pf panipat? Panipat ke baare mein kya hae jo usko battle suitable city banata hae? panipat ke terrain kaise hae? was the old city of panipat enclosed by a fort? by walls?

Friend,
In Haryana, Modern National High Way No. I (Old Shershah Suri Sadak also known as Jarnaili Sadak) dots with famous battle grounds of the Medieval History of India starting with Tarawari (Near Karnal) also spellt as Terrain where two battles were fought between Prithaviraj Chahman and Md. Ghauri in 1191 and 1192. Then comes Karnal town where Nadir Shah, the Afghan invader and Muhammad Shah clashed in 1739 AD. About 40 kms from Karnal towards Delhi is located Panipat where three battles were fought in 1526, 1556 and 1761 A.D.
Thus in this vast plain area stretching from Tarrain to Panipat, the fate of Indian political system was decided. The main reason for occurrence of these events here was that it is situated on the western bank of Yamuna River which provided water and fodder for the animals used in the battles as well as fertile area provided enough grains to the contesting armies. In addition, traditionally the Indian rulers who lived at their capital Delhi used to march to thwart his march and to face the enemy and used to meet here as a last minute bid to save their possession.
No Panipat has had no fort.
The memorials to three battles of Panipat has been established by Haryana Govt at Kala Amb on the Banks of Yamuna outside the town.
