Sony DSC H20 is available here in Saudi Arabia for 1200 SAR, approximately 15000 INR with 2 GB memory card free.

Thinking to buy one.

yesterday after reading this thread i also bought Sony digicam DSC - H20.
Stunned to see the picture quality with 10Mpixel and 10x optical zoom.
everything is good except price- Rs 17999/- with Rs 890/- carry beg.
4GB card is free as deewali discount.

If anybody can afford in this range, quality is worthful.

compact digi cams are loosing their charm. People are moving towards DLSRs as they have amazing results. Prices of DSLRs are dropping everyday.. Nikon has launched Nikon D3000, its a replacement of Nikon D40. I am using Nikon L5 (compact Digi Cam), I am planning to go for Nikon D90 or Nikon D5000 very soon.
Canon is also offering some great and affordable DSLRs.
Whenever anybody want to buy any compact/DSLR, I suggest that ebay.co.in or shopping.indiatimes (You can pay in EMI also). They offer products with warranty as well as products are almost 50% cheaper price quoted on company's website..

Jitender bhai now a days High Definition recording is catching up(Not sure if we have TVs to play that movie) I recently bought XR100E of Sony. Picture and sound quality is amazing, only drawback is that it doesn't have night mode..but in day light, it gives blue ray quality.

yeh saare ek jaise hote hain agar non-professionally use karne ho to ... 5 megapixel bhi bhatera hai


maine to Canon liya tha , IXUS series , 4 saal pehle , 5 megapixel ( tab toh maach ke liya tha sabse batti 5 megapixel hi tha ), serves all right in case of non-professional usage!

After a big inquiry with my friends and studios, i buy Sony cyber-shot DSC-S930 is best uses for normal photo for parties, visits etc, in 7800 Rs.

-10.1 mega pixels
-3X optical zoom
-steadyshot
-ISO 3200 high sensitivity
-face detection
-2.4 LCD screen

I think its a good deal in 7800 Rs in Jaipur.
