Symantec or Norton

Dear All Jatlanders,

Please suggest which antivirus is best or both are same??? I am little bit confused about the following antiviruses. The confusion is both are Symantec Corporation products.

1. Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 10.2.4


2. Norton Antivirus 2010


I need above antivirus for my Personal Computer (Core 2 Quad 2.83, 4GB RAM, 500 GB Hard Disk). Please suggest best antivirus (may be other than above) for this configuration.

Try ESET Smart Security, its the best ... have been using for last 3 years with no probs.

Its very light, very effective and secure!

Norton Internet Security 2010 kaafi rahega PC mein yaa phir Norton Anti Virus bhi dalna padega.

Bhai anti virus bhi daal le na to mere se leliye mere pe HCL ka licensed version hai just u need to keep on updating that that's it.

Comodo firewall (you have to be a bit techical for this)
Both are free and does not suck like Norton and Symantec.

nominations are 1.kaspersky antivirus,2.Bitdefender,3.Viper antivirus,4.Norton,5.Mcafee,6.eset nod32

use any branded full version antiVirus....my self using NORTON

i use to change my antivirus every couple of months n tried all the famous ones.... only thing is watever the antivirus u use u sud update it regularly .... my recommendation is NOD32 (ESET) or bitdefender (bcoz they have a function like whenever we insert any USB drive they detect it n start scanning automatically) and if u r an internet savy then an anti spyware is must. most antivirus software claim to have an anti spyware but a separate one is gud option like 'search n destroy'

nod 32 is best antivirus...............u update regularly then its good......
norton is also good but it slow down your pc......
