For Working women, I think a good choice is an iPad - as it can easily fit into a purse and there is no need to carry an additional computer bag.

You are right I-pad is a goog choice, but if we talk abt the concerns that arises later after using any device whether it is laptop, mobile or else it required maintenance or services .

Always remember the more comfort, portability requires more maintenance cost and costly parts.

So think hidden issues like service time and type like ONsite or offsite, and its Turn Around time to resolve your problem.
Because these things sucks a lot later.

All unmarried, widowers, and divorced males are part-time homemakers. Also, in those households where wife is working but husband is not, males fall in this category as per conventional/unwritten version of Hindu Marriage Act. A married male becomes ad hoc homemaker in the eventuality of wife going to 'mayake'. For example I am a homemaker for the last 10 days; doing all 'jharoo- pocha, bartan-bhande and roti-tooka'

Coming to topic. ipod is good for everyone familiar with its usage. The only problem is that it takes more time to type on its keyboard/touchscreen .The graphics and video chat are not as enjoyable as on laptop. In this age of cutting edge technology, there is no dearth of brands. It all depends on the pocket and the usage. All the brands are equally good if equipped with intel processor/chipset, no matter i-1, 2,4 or 7. Technology keeps changing very vast and how effectively one can keep pace with, depends on the technical know-how, budget and requirement of the user. I have experience of using Lenovo, Sony and Toshiba laptops. Lenovo and Sony went out of order within two years. Let us see how long Toshiba (L745) lasts.

theoretically - maybe. practically, a jat would consider beneath him to do house hold chores and take care of the wife after she returns home. I have experienced it, unfortunately.

    That’s fantastic!!!!
You know Urmila Ji, sometimes I even find it hard to dial the numbers on these mobile phones. May be I got stoutly finger. I have seen people typing with a thin pencil like stuff on ipad/blackberries, but I don’t have so much patience. I think I am not a tech savvy person at all.

Perhaps you can use pen/pencil to press the numbers on your mobile phone.

I have read your posts - like your reference to the Economic Times, critical analysis of fertilizer prices and many more. It is hard to believe that you are not a tech savvy person. Are you mocking me??? - perhaps the information I provided is too basic and probably too obvious to have been posted.
