Your concern is right Pooja but serial has safeguarded itself by flashing a message that this serial does not represent any region or its people. To legally to safe hain serial aale.......... serial mein gaadiyan ki numberplate bhi HR ki jagah HA kar dee unn ne....

Even one of my colleague from Kerala told me about this serial... And even he commented abt girl's situation in Haryana after watching this serial.

After that I tried watching few episodes of this but could not digest it....

How a single lady (from an elite family) speaking Haryanavi where the whole village is speaking in Hindi.....

Aisa lagya jaise America mein koyi Gaam bas rahya ho Hindustaniya ka err wahan ek Haryanavi lady jake raaj akran lag gi ho.......

Sir, if you notice, they have started showing disclaimer that they are not representing anything from any community. Now after this, do you think your legal actions will be taken seriously. Dear Jatlanders, i dont see anything wrong in the serial, One ammaji is speaking in Haryanvi and also called her family SANGWAN family but one must understand it is purely a filmy entertainment. In really sex ratio in Haryana, Delli and surroundings is on danger level than what is the harm to show these kind of things which are near to real.Mujhe to bhayo isme koi galat nahin lagya baki Jat chaudhurio ki marji, lekin ammaji ka aur Dharambir sangwan ka role badhia se.:D

i didnt watch a single episode of this serial, so don't know what is going on in it....

Apni apni problem har region mein hoti hain (possibly hoti hongi, as I think the society itself has improved a lot. This serial seems 20 years later than it should have been telecast).. But dont you think that hatred against the girl child are highly exaggerated in this serial which makes it difficult to digest..

And the interesting part - The story revolves around a woman who is the head of a society againt women.

Sirohi Sir prove that this serial creating the misunderstanding about Haryana.

Sirohi sir, It's true that problem is there, but Punjab is being the worst as compared to Haryana ( See the statics released by UNICEF ).Now statics for Haryana are in reverse gear as result of some encouragement policies started for Girls by Haryana govt. & paradigm shift by young married couples.Moreover Haryana comes after Maharastra, Gujarat, HP etc.

And I am not defending Haryana , but issue should be raised as social responsibility not for money making.Television is mirror of society , so it should reflect the things in positive way.

kya aap mujhe aise 1-2 gaaon ke naam bataenge.......
