In today's world there is nothing called monopoly, take any product or service,you will find so much cut throat competition.......so the marketers are much under pressure to position their products better than others....

So comes in picture.......... the advertisements

since the time we started watching television...ads have become an integral part of our lives,latley we can find so many jingles repetitively on so called "idiot box" which are even more famous than our bollywood tracks,so many humour claded scripts which instantly catch our fancies

Recent ones:-

mintos fresh- dimag ki batti jala de

n the most creative ones are those for happydent(lightening with the teeth.......wot a concept hehe) and fevicol

Airtel's adjingles are so mind captive......

cant recall so many at this time..........

I dont remember older ones...but in new ads i quite like Surf-Daag achhey hain...in which a school boy becomes a dog just to give a smile to his teacher and another is Limca....the melodious song.....can watch it again n again

Anybody? Anybody has old paper clips. I used to cut & save ads from newspaper and magazines. Long time ... hmm (I don't have 'em now)
I will search 'em when I visit India.

Audio Ads - don't remember much - didn't listen much radio or any such medium that serves only audio content.

...The Company You Keep!!! ...(So TRUE!!! )

(It's from the New York Life commercials/advertisments!)

with a beautiful jingle at the end of each commercial that goes something like...
"Tu jo hai, to hai Khushii, ...Khoobsurat lagae; yae Zindagi!!!"......

I am not sure if they beam it everywhere much, but is run a lot here on the Indian/desi satellite channels probably as a television campaign geared toward the Asian-Indian community .....
You can check at least one example of those commercials on this u-tube link below...(and they have many such different ones ... apparently all built around New York Life’s signature statement “The Company You Keep” usuallydepicting various life events that make life beautiful, precious and timeless.)
