Number of Jat Villages with page for each village on Jatland Wiki right now is 5,000

State wise break up is

Jat Villages in Rajasthan = 2,563

Jat Villages in Haryana = 1,235

Jat Villages in Uttar Pradesh = 555

Jat Villages in Madhya Pradesh = 368

Jat Villages in Delhi = 158

Jat Villages in Chhattisgarh = 16

Jat Villages in Maharashtra = 11

Jat Villages in Uttarakhand = 7

Jat Villages in Bihar = 2

All these are Hindu Jat Village. Here Jat village means it has at least one Jat Gotra population living in it.

burdak ji maharastra mey 22 gaaon to nasik jiley me hi hein ,ikkathey ,jo ki baawisi ke naam se jaaney jaatey hein.

Ravinderji,

Can you write names of all 22 Jat villages in Maharashtra with districts and gotras. That can be useful here on JL Wiki.

Bhai Ravinder, ye Nasik aale jat, marathi bole se k eeb tai haryanvi bole se. Will be interesting to see a comparison of language, customs, traditions followed by Nasik and Marathi Jats viz a viz jats in haryana.

When i see some respected members like you who are contributing in updating jatland wiki i feel proud of being a part of this site.....i have updated wiki on lot of villages in haryana and will try if i get more info on the ones left out....i find it quite interesting to know about a village's name and the history behind it....as i love reading about mythology so in most of the cases while updating wiki on villages i got to know how most of our villages are associated with lot of mythology characters and incidents.

History is mixed with mythology every where and it becomes difficult at times to get its true history. If the things are recorded and linked from all corners we can get true history. Let us keep updating !!!

well just wana give u guyz n update tht the total number of jat villages in uttar pradesh is not just 555.just in mathura district there are about 1045 jat villages n in agra district deree r more thn 500 jat villages.for reference type jat villages in mathura and agra district in google.it would show u number of villages of different jat gotras..thanxx

IRBUDRAKJI, there are some jat villages in J&k also, nr sambha and kathuwa, I visited one of the village in 1980 when in service, but unfortunately the details are not available. If some brother posted in that area can give some info, you may try with some people known to you, I shall try my best to get some info and give to you. col (retd) Fateh

Sandeep Ji adding Jat Villages on Jatland is continuous process. Members are adding. Right now we have 10,863 Jat villages. See here - [wiki]Category:Jat Villages[/wiki]
