Dear all,
How about we organize a gettogether for Jats and fmailes in Singapore and/or Malaysia somewhere in Sg or KL on a contributory basis, with couple of months advance notice, thus allowing all to plan around it.
Those interested, please post in comments (along with indicative number of attending family members - adults and kids break down).

On a serious note, I am also for it. Will be going to Singapore, tentatively in March on some official haj yatra. That time around, it will be suitable for me, if the venue is to be Singapore. If the venue is KL, you people may plan any time according to your convenience. Please give me a notice of at least one week so that I can get "choon ka peepa" filled. (Choon is easily available here). But I am sure in Singapore there are more families. I know two more gentlemen there - One Mr. Ranjit Singh working with some hotel chain and one Mr. Sombir Singh (both from Bhiwani Distt) working with some pvt. company. I will give their contact numbers in due course.
As you have mooted the idea Vishal, please take the lead and go ahead with your plans.

@Vivek: Vivek Penang is a part of Malaysia. So, the silence of Singapore wala is justified. Now coming to your query, unless I know your qualification, work experience, salary offered by the would be employer in Penang, present employment in India and salary, your spending habits, it would be difficult to comment as to how much salary would be reasonable for you for a comfortable living in Malaysia. Expectations have no boundaries, but these should be nurtured keeping in view the avenues available to you. Though you are the best judge in this regard, I will definitely give my remarks about the optimum salary once I receive necessary inputs on the above mentioned points. You are most welcome any time.
