In order to elicit more responses I suggest that please be more specific if you are seeking practical tips, differences in the ways you prepare for those 2 types of orgs, people's varied personal experiences with them, etc.

IMO, people are more likely to make an effort to reply if OP (Original Poster) himself/herself has made sufficient effort in the original post to explain the scenario, provide tips, pose some tempting questions, etc. Usually, people are less inclined to respond to lazy one-liners.

High end companies usually consider the qualifying marks, communication skill and behaviour skills over the technical skills while for a startup, technical skills, dedication and hard work is a priority.
