Ask him to get in touch with someone in PantNagar Agri University or AMUL. These two are good employers for Agri Engineers.
Further he may opt for an Agri Management course offered by the IIMs.
gv his details like University, grade point. Tell him to post his profile to all agri-tech and tractor Co. generally they place freshers in Marketing department.
However entering through campus placements or internal links of seniors or friends in Co. is the best approach. Take help of job consultants and post resume on job search engines like naukri.com, monster.com
I vl suggest as fresher try for Banks instead of Marketing as there are lot of vacancies coming out for Agri-professionals in banks.
