Indeed it is just a commentary. I personally don't come across many commentators that show the urban educated middle class of India the other side of the coin. While there are many who gladly preach solutions that are instant hits with our self-serving bias.

The response had just picked up, but Anna ji thought it has no meaning in the present situation created by Govt. Therefore it has been called off to have relook at future course of action.

They would have more influence on the courts then the backward class.

So while the numbers may be correct, the logic is flawed and is another attempt to keep the backward oppressed so that the corrupt rich class can continue to exploit them.

Today, I came to know that the governor of Gujarat did not notify the selected Lokayukt by the selection committee under lokayukt bill passed by the Gujarat assembly for 4 years. Recommendation was in governor's office for 4 years. The crux of the matter is governor was appointed by the UPA govt and UPA (read congress) did not want that Lokayukt.

If the governor was so hell bent on appointing the lokautkt, then why not appoint the lokayukt selected by a panel under lokaukt bill which was passed by state assembly. Why appoint a lokayukt by himself/herself without following the constitution and assembly bill? Because governor was following the orders of "Aalakamaan".

Our respected VP ji did not hope that the governor follows the constitution and appoints lokayukt as per the state bill and constitution.

Black Ink Thrown on Baba Ramdev While He Was Addressing a Press Conference .

Yoga guru Ramdev was today the target of an attack by a man who threw black ink on his face at a press conference he was addressing on his plans to campaign against black money in the coming assembly elections.

Seated along with Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy at the Constitution Club in the heart of the capital, Ramdev's left eye was blackened with ink by the man identified as Kamran Siddiqui, a resident of Delhi who is said to be running an NGO 'Real Cause' which is a petitioner in the Batla House encounter case.

Ramdev's supporters at the conference caught him and manhandled him before police took him away. The man, whose shirt was torn and removed, was seen bleeding from his lips. There was lot of jostling around when police escorted the yoga guru away from the club.

Jaideep, Ramdev's close aide, claimed that Siddiqui had gained entry into the hall carrying a walkie talkie apparently posing as a security personnel. He also claimed that a bottle of acid was recovered from Siddiqui.

Ramdev, who immediately wound up the press conference, later said he was not deterred by such attacks and would continue his campaign with full force against corruption.

"We talked about black money, we talked about eradicating corruption and in return as a prize this is what I have got. However, by throwing ink on someone, one cannot malign his character," he said.

"One whose life has been devoted to fighting corruption cannot be deterred by black flags and ink," he said.

Before the incident, Siddiqui had sought Ramdev's opinion on the 2008 Batla House encounter in which suspects of the Delhi serial blasts were killed.

The yoga guru had ignored the question and soon after the attack took place.
