If Jan Lokpal is not the solution or part of the solution, what is the solution? If the naysayers know the solution, why have they not implemented the solution till date?

Seeing the silent criticism of the efforts undertaken by Team Anna, it seems they really have an uphill task.

It is said that most of the people shouting and chanting 'kill him', 'kill him' during the crucification of Christ did not know why were they chanting that. They were just chanting 'kill him' because others were chanting 'kill him'. Similarly, when a handful of a 'Common men/women' are making their efforts to cleanse the system, we are chanting 'kill them', 'kill them' because the proteges and beneficiaries of the Great Congress party say that Jan Lokpal is not the solution.

And we all know the Congress' solution to corruption - MORE CORRUPTION.

Justice Katju is right in saying that Jan Lokpal is not a solution to the corruption. That's not how you tackle corruption. I think people should understand this fact.

एक बात और यदि सारे सर्पों को एक साथ ही मार दोगे तो धरती पर चूहों की भरमार हो जाएगी अर्थात पारस्थितिकी असंतुलन का भय . अब स्वामी रामदेव को ही लें, उन्होंने पहले विषदंत वाले सांपों को समाप्त करने का बीडा उठाया है और शेष सर्पों को अपनी पोटली में बंद करते जा रहे हैं ताकि आवश्यकता आने पर इनको पोटली से बाहर निकाल इन्ही के विष से देश का उपचार ढूंढा जा सके.

Yes, jumping a red light is exactly the same as scamming the country off millions via coalgate, foddergate and coffingate. And because we have all skipped a red light in our lives, we have also lost the right to question the people whom we voted and are now busy filling their coffers. Where have I heard that before? Yes, politicians in parliament or in tv debates. Their counter to every allegation of corruption is the same- "If we are corrupt, so are you. So you cant point fingers at us!" Now the same can be asked by the politicians of the common man - "You skipped a red-light! You can't question us." No wonder a party worker used this logic here. So much for neutrality.
