Lcd/plasama/led/smart tv/3d tv
Dear All,
Planning to buy a new 32" tv confused which one two buy as there so many options nowdays like - LCD/PLASAMA/LED/SMART TV/3D TV. Budget is b/w 25 to 30k. Tried many even Vu - Brand of Zenith Computers, but still not able to take decision, please share your views, & if any jat is in company of the tv's or pc do let me know if i can get gud deal, or jat owned showrooms will also work for me. How about to buy through CSD [ defence canteen's]. I am from Mehruali.

LCD/LED/Plazma etc. all are crap. Picture stretchs wide in these tv. 29" LG may be good. Otherwise 21" tv is best.

Dear Vishal iss budget main to jo Upender jee kah rahe hain 29" LG or 29"Samsung achha
kaam karte hain. Agar budget ko thoda sa badha sakte ho ya CSD se le sakte ho to
Sony Bravia ki kaffi achhi range hai aur performance bhi behtar hai.

LG Sucks big time .. very cheap quality .. Samsung is slightly better but if you want a better quality in competitive price, go for Panasonic Viera. Panasonic usages Japan made tough panel which is far better than any Korean crap. Price is very competitive you can get 32" HD LCD for around 25 thousand easily.
We recently bought one and satisfied with the quality.

But what to do with stretched widely picture in LCD. A football looks rugby ball...I have Samsung 29"...that also sucks...but as I have seen India winning world cup 2011 in it, so I still love this crap...

@Jt Takharbhai- i know panasonic i gud, but wat about led, will it cost more, thinking for some latest stuff, i know my budget.

ha ha - sahi kaha, @ balhara ji, even i don't want to buy, woh to wife needs, i love listening or seeing raagnis, for that my desktop is sufficient. but she says room space will improve if we buy new slimmer tv, even she don't like listening or seeing raagnis, i listen on loud volume, being a jat lady[beniwal maiden surname or gotra], she hates, iam thinking of some other option to buy some laptop & take to my terrrace to listen my stuff.

Sony Bravia - Panasonic - Samsung. In the same order of preference. Sound quality of sony is best. Try getting it from Singapore, u will be able to get 40 Inch LCD / LED for 40 / 50 Grand or Buy it now under 0% EMI and sale offer during Diwali.

विशाल भाई ! जो बजट आपने यहाँ दिया है उसमें आपके द्वारा वर्णित साइज़ 32" के संदर्भ में दो विकल्प LED तथा 3D TV तो लगभग वैसे ही हद से बाहर हो गए हैं क्योंकि अच्छे ब्रांड की 32 " की LED तथा 3D TV 35000 से तो शुरू होती हैं। बाकी SMART TV आजकल सभी ब्रांडेड LCDs तथा LEDs का एक नियमित फीचर हो गया है। ये तो आपको लगभग सभी नए मॉडल्स में मिलेगा ही। हाँ जहां तक प्लाज्मा की बात है तो Viewing Angle तथा Life के संदर्भ में यह LCD तथा LED दोनों से बेहतर है। लेकिन power consumption के मामले में यह इन दोनों से पीछे हैं। 3D Tv को मेरे अनुसार आप लंबे समय तक नहीं देख सकते हैं।
हाँ एक बात जरूर याद रखें लें चाहे LCD या LED, वो Full HD(1920 - 1080) ही लें।

Most of the companies use Samsung motherboard for TVs now a days(afaik). On top of that they do some cosmetic changes like Sony has added Bravia engine on top of that board. If you have some link in Dubai/US, ask them to bring the TV for you. There will be a considerable difference of around 10k that you can save.
Best is wait for recession to be officially declared and see the drop in prices! They will chase you to buy their product with more discounts and offers.
