Sure. Are you suggesting there is a link between place and the language one uses with their own friends?

this is really awkward dagar saheb, we feel proud while using our language jatvani among ourselves, among those who can understand and feel ease in replying us. aap to woh baat kar rahe ho ki bhes ke aage bin bajana. if a person cann't understand any language then what the use of using it. how can our SHAAN may enrich owing to it. yaar koi african, russian, japnese, or south indian (laga le) communicate in their language although they feel proud and ofcourse will bite with homesickness but other person remain a statue. ek baat aur delhi metro mein koi jat mile ar dusra jat apni language na kare to its shameful. mere bhai har tarah ke admio se alag tarah se baat hoti hai.

Status is as good as you think. One should not be ashamed of it all. But in situation where one can't understand, it should be avoided. If one is ashamed of his\his identity than it is indeed a shame for the individual. Use it as as when you feel like you should. Be proud of it always.

It is not language or agriculture effect our status but our behaviour, our conduct, efficiency in profession, unity of the community and now in these days money, power and position do effect your place in the society. Jat will remain jat, our parents will remain parents, we must do good work, behave well develop good personal qualities, work hard, attain good positions, be strong and united community and donot bother about status, openions will change.

I feel, on this forum most of us understand hindi, english and jatu/haryanvi/rajesthani/brij bhasa and as long as one is able to convey his/her point properly in any of the languages, there shouldnot be any problem to any one, the language used should be simple, convey the meaning, should be polite & respectful.

I agree. Just because one speaks/is more comfortable speaking english does not mean in anyway that he/she is any less Jat. Similarly, habitual Jaatu speakers cannot claim to be doing better as a Jat than non Jaatu/poor Jaatu speakers.

The language is the ONLY tool to communicate.

The first important things is that in what language/dialect you can understand better.
The second important thing is that in what language/dialect you can convey your message to the mass in a BETTER way.
The third and most important thing is that in what language/dialect you can interact effectively with most of the people you meet.

    Choice is yours !

I think you have highlighted the most important part of communication - it must be effective.

    Friends,

It is very interesting thread in which every participant has contributed in a nice way. Congrts.

I may say that the language or boli is a means of conveying and receiving ideas between the speaker and receptor. It has rightly been said that for effective communication one has to acquire communication skills but not attend oratory courses.

Differences appart, I agree with Brig Lakshman singh and would like to add one more point that individuals make community and their behaviour and attitude forms the openion of others about the community, most of us know that inspite of jats having all good qualities, just because of our little unpleasent behaviour we got a bad name, regards

    Ram 2 Sabne,
No need to feel ashamed speak apni jat language with pride, every one in this world speaks their own language, to know some other language is secondary thing. Feel proud on yourself & apni jat language if ur true jat.
