Jatland Library (Wiki section) contains a sub-section Jat history books in Hindi where you can read some rare books on Jat History.

Sir Chhotu Ram was born 130 years ago (on 24 November 1881). Ch. Hawa Singh Sangwan has recently written a book titled - चौ० छोटूराम का हत्यारा कौन ?

This book was published in Augut 2010 and a few of us may have read it. If you see the title of the book, it may look misleading. But actually, the theme of the book is - how can we carry forward the ideology of Sir Chhotu Ram for the upliftment of our community.

When I was in India recently, I established contact with Ch. Hawa Singh Sangwan who gave his kind assent to put this book on-line, at this site.

Accordingly, I have prepared the Wiki version (Unicode text) of this book and uploaded at Jatland Wiki. Click here to read it.

खरी-खरी........! mai to katti nichod kadh rakha hai baat ka.

जाट कौम को 65 साल से अर्थात् दीनबन्धु चौ० छोटूराम के देहान्त के बाद से ही मन्दिर का शंख बना दिया गया है जो चाहे जितनी फूंक मारकर बजा रहा है । कभी गोरक्षा के नाम से इसे आर्यसमाज बजा रहा है तो कभी कामरेड हिन्दू विवाह कानून का समर्थन करने के लिए बजा रहा है । कभी बाबा रामदेव देश के स्वाभिमान के नाम से बजा रहा है (योग को पहले व्यापार बनाया, अब इसे राजनीति का अखाड़ा बनाने जा रहा है । बही-खाते की देखभाल उनके परिवार के लोग ही कर रहे हैं, दूसरों पर विश्वास नहीं । देश के स्वाभिमान की बात कर रहे हैं), तो कभी राधास्वामी, सच्चा सौदा व बापू आसाराम आदि-आदि अध्यात्म के नाम से बजा रहे हैं। मैं इन सब डेरे वालों को चैलेंज करके कह रहा हूं कि वे मेरे हाथ की छोटी वाली अंगुली को मोड़ना तो दूर अपने अध्यात्म से या किसी भी काले पीले मंत्र से एक बार हिला कर तो दिखा दें । ब्राह्मणवाद ने तो जाट कौम को पाखण्डवाद के अंधेरे में धकेलने की कसम खा रखी है, ये लोग इस शंख में इतनी फूंक मार रहे हैं कि आज हमारे लाखों नौजवान जाट कांवड़ ढोने में लगे हैं । गांव में ऊंचे-ऊंचे मन्दिर बनवाकर अपनी दुकान जमा रहे हैं और जाट कौम की गाढ़ी कमाई का पैसा उस भगवान के नाम से बर्बाद किया जा रहा है जिसे आज तक किसी ने नहीं देखा । अब ये कहेंगे कि भगवान तो अनुभव करने की चीज है तो फिर ड्रामेबाजी क्यों ? जाट कौम को मरे पर खाने की आदत डाली जा रही है वहीं दूसरी ओर जागरणों के न्यौते दिए जा रहे हैं । लेकिन वास्तव में जाट कौम का जागरण आज तक किसी ने भी आरम्भ नहीं किया चौ छोटूराम को छोड़कर । भगवान को रिश्वत के तौर पर सवामणि और भण्डारे करके जाट कौम को प्रलोभन दिए जा रहे हैं । आज जाट कौम दूसरों के हाथों का शंख बन गई है जबकि इस शंख से कावड़ लाने वालों को न तो कभी नौकरी ही मिलेगी तथा न ही कोई दुल्हन । आज अनपढ़ जाट और पढ़े लिखे जाट की मानसिकता में कोई अंतर नहीं रहा है । पुरानी कहावत

You cannot always blame others for your own stupidity. Sometime weak has to be blamed too for not being strong enough.

We bow our heads with utmost respect to the memory of Rahaber-i-Azam Deen Bandhu Sir Chaudhary Chhotu Ram on his birthday i.e. 24th November. He became a living legendary leader of pre-partition Punjab. no Indian can forget his reforms as revenue minister and his unparalleled skill and endeavour to get the approval of the Government of the day for the construction of the Bhakhara Dam Project, which has rightly been said to be the temple for worship by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru.
His opposition to C.R. Formula and rebuff to Mr. Jinnah are worth emulation for the public personalities who should be persons of ideals and not idles. Very few people know that the great Jat was equally concerned with the welfare of trading class and give them break from the monotony he fixed hours for keeping the shops open and also one off day per week. It was he who made it mandatory for the establishments to grant paid holiday on weekends to their workers. We salute him as a messiah of the down trodden, havenots, toiling masses for whom he lived, worked and died. He was a really secular minded genius and a gem of the Jats.
