हिसार.जज बनने की राह में सुमित्रा कादयान को पहली बार असफलता मिली मगर उन्होंने हार नहीं मानी। वह सिर्फ तीन अंकों से पिछड़ गई थीं। दूसरी बार दोगुने जोश के साथ परीक्षा में सफलता हासिल की। झज्जर के बेरी गांव की सुमित्रा डीएन कॉलेज के स्टाफ क्वार्टर में माता-पिता और छोटे भाई के साथ रहती हैं।
