Which may have originated from the urdu word Mom (wax)+jamma(cover) i.e. wax coated/covered "thaila/jhola" ... once the paper is coated with the wax, it becomes sturdier and its load carrying capacity is enhanced, as well as it becomes somewhat waterproof.

whats "doke" in "aade ke doke len aaya s" ...meaning "what have you come here for?" i.e. there isnt anything to gain from here for you.

Is the word "doke" something to do with "milching" the "milch animal" ... as in "bhains doke taal gi" i.e. the animal is not milching anymore.
