This is a huge gap of more than 4m. In olympics she has to give more than her best to finish up in top 3. I hope and pray for her to bring laurels for our country in the olympics!

Three days Two medals and one new national record: Splendid Achievements indeed

On Friday, Krishana Poonia had recorded her season's best throw of 63.67m to win the silver in the first leg of the Altius Track Crew Throwdown meet.

On Sunday, she won another silver medal and set new national record in her third throw of 64.76m in the finals of the same meet.

In the finals, the gold went to S Trafton of the US, the reigning Olympic champion, with a throw of 66.86m.

Thus she has succeeded in bettering her on record, setting new national record and narrowing the difference between the top competitors for which we congratulate and wish her all success in future competitions.

Good show. Another 80 days to go for the olympics. If she can better her throw by another meter and a half, she really stands a chance to finish in top 3. If she can throw the discus a meter further within a span of two days, she has the potential to better it in another 80 days or so. Hope for the best!

You are right. In view of Mrs Poonia's confidence level and form nothing seems impossible and added to it are the prayers of all Indian well wishers that would grant her courage to bring laurels to herself and to the nation during the forthcoming competitions.
