    इब तो कोई छोरी आला जब तन्ने देखा आवेगा बियाह खातर, तो उसे गाम के बारे मे किसी ते कुछ पूछन की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी , फूल भाई
    खैर मज़ाक अलग, बहुत बढ़िया फूल भाई ,
    हरेक गाम की अलग वैबसाइट की बजाय जाटलैंड पे या कोसिस होनी चाहिए और गाम के बालक जो कंपूटर मे माहिर है उन्हे अपने गामा के बारे मे इससा ही कुछ करना चाहिए

    Dear friends thanks for you responses and appreciation....this website is going to grow more and more with time...many such things, which may make it an encyclopedia kind of site are in pipeline and to be added on it soon....I am sure I would be able to make my vision of "Having Haryanvi culture and language known and stood equal to its counter parts" true and that is why have started building this site in Haryanvi language too...pehaps the first ever attempt to have a site in Haryanvi language!

    Haryanvi language is just not limited to Haryana rather immediate neighbors of Haryana, Western UP, Dilli (I prefer to write Dilli, instead of Delhi, now time has come to ask Dilli for so called Delhi on similar pattern as Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru etc), adjoining parts of Rajsthan, Punjab and MP. Even it is spoken in bordering regions of Pakistan where it is known as "Rangri".

    I shall keep you updating about new developments of this Nidana Heights site time to time.

    Dear Friends, though I wanted to put this link under "Haryanvi Kahavaten" thread of general talk series but on finding that group closed, I am putting it here under "Nidana Heights" website thread.

    Nidana Heights has successfully compiled 404 Haryanvi Culture Idioms, Proverbs, Sayings, Quatrains and many more of local phrases and that too in pure Haryanvi and Devnagri Script: http://www.nidanaheights.com/culturehr-proverbs.html

    It may happen that you may come to see many of these already listened and even practising in your day to day life. Our motive was to compile maximum of it at one place. our estimation is of 600 proverbs in total, which we have collected as of the day out of which 404 are here for you at link in above paragraph.     Know your village economic engine, know the nation's economic roots.

    Motive and learnings from this study: Our study finds that if an additional subject on village economy is added to junior level school education and curriculam, a nation can produce more efficient, sharp and intelligent individuals. Students studying in a village or city, should be taught the respective village' or city' economic operations. School itself can establish village/city level junior economic research centers and can put the selective and interested students in local research by giving them assignments and if possible with incentives as an encouragement. It will not only put them in habit of talking with facts and figures but will help to understand their respecitive village's or city's in and out economic cycle. And thus will automatically create in them, an economic understanding and confident mind towards becoming self-employed and/or employment generators .

    Yahaan "बटेऊ" ka matlab hai "बाट chalne wala", aur बाट kahte hain chalte jaane waale ko aur jab chalta hua koi musafir jaise jab kisi ghar paani peene ya vishram karne ke liye pnaah mangta tha to usko "बटेऊ" kahte they.....jisko aap English mein "Guest" bhi kahte hain.

    Jis "बटेऊ" ki baat aap kar rahe hain usko "जमाई" kahte hain ye to time ke chalte shabd badal gaya aur hamaari bhasha bharst hone ka asar hai ki aaj "जमाई" ko bhi "बटेऊ" kahte hain, to ab aap hi bataiye kyaa aap har bateu ko apne ghar ka jamaai bana sakte hain kyaa? aur kyonki jamai jab sasural aata hai to wo baat chalke aaya karta tha isliye usko bateu kaha jaane laga

    Yahi to reasons they ki in words ke asali meanings lupt hote ja rahe they to inhi ko sanchit karne ka yah ek mission is site ke through start kiya hai.....ha baaki agar aapke paas apne point pe aage aur safaai pesh kar, mere ko apne paksh ko samjhaane ka koi aur behatar jariya ho to main jaroor sunna chahunga......

    baaki mera ye maan na hai.. aise shabdo ka prayog kiya jaaye jo aam bolchaal ki bhasha me ho, bajaye vilupt hue shabdo ke, jinhe chuninda log hi jaante ho.....badalte waqt ke sath boli, bhasha ka bhi vikas/badlaav hota hai......... nahi to har koi mere barga ise meri hi tareh samjhega..(khaskar non-jat haryanavi)

    Bhaai ye word vilupt ho gaya ho, aisa to khair nahin hai, bahut famous word hai "Bateu" but ha iska jo root meaning tha uspe doosri sense ki parat chadh gai hai....baaki I will try to find if any pure Haryanvi word more compatible to this title.

    You are right the word BATEU is not obsolete as it is commonly used to respectfully address the person married to the girl/daughter of anybody in the villages of Haryana.

    In view of your comments on the issue, it becomes more desirable to use such words to keep them alive and enrich the local dialect, boli and then Haryanavi language and culture. By describing their root meaning, use in sentences as has been done by friends in their respective posts, they have done a yeoman's service to the cause of culture and also helped those persons who do not know Haryanavi to see the beauty of the Haryanavi language.

    वैसे तो भाई फूलकुमार जी का यह विशेषाधिकार है कि ये अपनी वेब-साईट पर पहुँचने वाले को क्या बुलाना चाहते हैं परन्तु बटेऊ शब्द यहाँ पर काफी हास्यास्पद और अटपटा सा लगता है, इसका इतिहास कुछ भी रहा हो I बाट चल कल आने वाले को बटोही भी कहा जाता था I फिर बटोही ही क्यों नहीं कह देते I खामखां मै सबनै क्यूँ बटेऊ बणावो सो I हाडे या गलत शिक्षा लेके, कौनसा भाई निडाणा मै किसे के घरां जा के नै कह देगा...... होका भरो भाई थारा बटेऊ आग्या, दूर की बाट जोह के आया सूँ I होक्का भरण के बजाये कोए सीधा माँ बहन की गाल काढैगा, आर हो सकै सै पिटाई भी कर दे I कोए और शब्द ढूंढ ल्यो visitor के लिए I भाषा की शोध करना अच्छी बात सै पर जो शब्द प्रयोग मै आगे उनको अब आम आदमी के lexicon से हटाना मुश्किल सा है I वैसे किसे नै बटेऊ कहोगे तो एतराज़ शायद कोई नहीं करेगा I

    वेब साईट पै जाण का टेम नहीं लाग लिया, पर लोग तारीफ कर रे हैं तो बढ़िया ऐ होगी I फुर्सत मैं देख के फेर कदे कमेन्ट मारेंगे इस पर भी I

    Considering the views from all of you and finding the word "Bateu" colliding with "Jamai" sense more rather than "Guest", I am replacing this word to "Batohi Pustika" for the moment though the research for a proper word is going on and you are welcomed to suggest any pure Haryanvi word for this phrase.

    After having a cursory glance at your site, I can say that it is a genuine endeavor to show-case the true colours of rural Haryana and its vibrant culture. This site would definitely go a long way in preserving the intangible heritage of rich Haryanvi culture and traditions. Nidana heights can, of course, be taken as a case study for those who are doing doctorate on rural life in Haryana as well as urban students. However, the title can be changed to make it all encompassing so as to represent the entire Haryana rather than representing just one village.

    Initially my motivation was to first see how it will work and be accepted among audians. Our team's try was to launch a model site for a village and to see what on the name of a village, we can add up to internet. Another reason was to define a full framework of all kind of parameters for one village.

    But yes now it should really be done on bigger scale. I have received same kind of recommendations from our other friends and visitor of Nidana Heights too.

    Our team also thinks on same line. We hope that we would soon be coming with something of big scale.
