Halaki main aapka logic samjhta hun, par aaj ki information ke time pe hamara kahin hona uske barein mein raye banane ke liye zaroori nahin. Is logic se to hum sirf unhi jagah aur logo ki baat kar sakte hain jahan hum gaye hain ya jin logo se hum mile hain. And further, fir to hum history ke kisi bhi topic pe baat nahi kar sakte, kyunki humne to woh sab dekh hi nahin!
And that data I quoted is govt. data. You are free to present data that says otherwise. I dont dispute Guj is doing well Just not that exceptional as made out to be. Guj was always a flourishing state. It akways had multiple ports, business centers and one of the most enterprising communities of India. It isnt hard to lead the state to growth.

There has been a sustained and vociferous attempt by the SICKULARIST intelligentsia and media (especially English) media to malign the image of Mr. Modi. Efforts have and are being made to demonize him.
These sickularists want to make the word Hindutva something akin to an ABUSE. They are the Thekedaars of secularism - the unofficial self-styled caretakers of the Indian secularism and constitution.
They never say a word when:
1. Lakhs of Kashmiri Hindu Pandits were killed and kicked out of their houses by Muslims.
2. Innocent hindu women and Children were burnt alive at Godhra in the Train.
3. Innocent citizens are killed by the muslim terrorists.
4. When the govt. does not hang even after Supreme Court verdict Terrorists as Afzal Guru.
5. Kasab is made a state guest and crores are spent on him.
THESE sickularists do not cry foul when the Congress indulges in muslim appeasement by:
1. Giving reservation on the basis of religion to muslims.
2. Goes soft on terrorism and terrorists. What is the point in arresting them when you don't hang them or punish them??
3. Talking of giving away Kashmir by taking the first step of taking it back to the independence era status of sadr-e-riyasat and wazir - e - aazam.
4. Bans books by Salman Rushdie and Taslima Nasreen but invites as state guest M. F. Hussein who drew Hindu Goddesses nude and who ran to UAE and also offering state funeral.
Its not just the Congress which is to be blamed alone it is the sickularist amongst us who are to blame - who play the identity politics by pitching one community against the other and not letting the communities to forget the differences. And then they talk of the social fabric.
We would do ourselves a favour by electing a straightforward, resolute and no-nonsense leader as our PM. Only hope it materializes sooner than later no matter however much energy and efforts the sickularists apply to stop him.

3). Roads (ek visit karo or khud hi compare karna)
4). Jobs (sab se jaya log migrate ho ruhe hain gujarat mai jobs ke liye, or mai sharat laga sakta hu ek maruti strike or vo bhi gujarat mai shift ho jayegi, fir gurgaon and delhi ke haal pe baat karangae)
5). Business (Sare businessman ki statements sun lo, mere kehne layak shayad hi kuch bache)
6). Peace & Motivation.(Gujarat mai 2002 ke baad aaj tak koi riot nahi hua hai.)

Sir, again, main aapka Guj jane wala logic nahi maan sakta. Thats true for everywhere and everytopic. We cant travel everywhere or meet everyone so we have to depend on the written word. We also have to make sure we have to read all perspectives, cover all sides and not read any biased sources.
Can you tell me where you stayed in Gujarat? Did whole of Gujarat have those 24*7 power? I doubt it. What about villages?
Even Bangalore and Mumbai are safe cities for women. Generally the more we go south from Delhi, the safety of women increases.
Roads to Punjab or Kerala ke bhi kam nahin hai. In fact these two states have the best infrastructure.
And you asked me why I brought up the Muslim issue. Its because for me Modi is a communal person without doubt. He sat on his backside and watched Mulims of Gujarat get killed by mobs. Not only that he never ever apologized for those riots that saw 3000 people lose their lives. Resignation to door ki baat hai. Agar usme thodi si bhi sharm hoti woh responsibility leta aur resign kar deta. That for me is a blot on Modi that will never go away. People can take the roads and the electricity but the dead are not going to come back.
Now you are going to ask me "what about the kar sewaks burnt in the train?" Tue that was a bad and criminal deed. But it doesnt justify state's involvement and abetment of revenge. The police watched and let mobs burn neighborhoods including an ex-MP. I dont believe Modi did all that he could.

From all the discussions here, it seems that the sickularists have been playing and are still playing the game of Chinese whispers. In this game which involves relay of a message through a chain of people, passing at each level from one person to the other in the chain, by the time the message reaches the last person in the chain, it is more likely than not highly distorted.
Similarly, the sickularists read in the biased media the false and exaggerated stories against nationalist people like Mr. Modi and further become mouthpieces of the biased media. They assume to themselves the birthright to give certificates of character to others - "He is secular, He is not secular". These people are self-appointed thekedaars of secularism little realizing or not realizing at all the true meaning of secularism.
If you ask these people as to what have they done in their personal capacity for the betterment of the Muslim community, which according to them is backward, They are BLANKKKK. After all, their only role is to create noise and call others as non-secular or secular as per their narrow minded prism of pre-conceived notions formed and reinforced by the biased media, which it is said is funded by the islamic petro-dollars from Saudi and other such countries.

You claim to have read lot of books but looks like either you have read selected books or you have any agenda to follow.
Few questions: OK Modi didnt apologize. Accepted but did congress apologize. Do you know what R. Gandhi said in 84, Jab bada ped girta he to aas pas ki jameen me darar to padti hi he (cant remember exect words). Being a sikh how can you forget this? Did congress take the moral respocibility of Mumbai Attaks? Did they resign? I have no problem as long as you read books from all liabrary not selected liabraries.
2. An average economy student will tell you that its hard to grow (as in % GDP) an already developed state. As you claimed Gujrat was already well off and he is growing it with a very good rate than it is exceptional. ( I am not drawing a conclusion here but just telling you that your logics doest match). To me he is a strong leader and able administrator which is the basic requirement if you have to grow. A lot depends on the natural resources, location Human deveopment and skilled labour etc. A weak leader is sometime worse than a corrupt leader.
