A thousand words spoken, one word to say
Beyond our dreams around the world,
Memories recalled emotions retold
We spoke in love 'till the light of day.

Provocative pleasures that wind their way
Our hearts were heavy, our passions bold
I heard your heart break, your passions unfold
Your tears falling in the cold light of day.

Last night my heart fell a thousand miles
As I heard sadness in your cries,
I sat there in the darkness for a while
My soul in sorrow exposed to your sighs.

Wanting to embrace you, to see you smile
To keep the cold light of day from your eyes.

A full moon
It's reflection like a silver ribbon
Draped across the glassy Ocean by God's hand.

On the opposite horizon
the sun surrenders
with a rosy sigh
an albatross silhouetted

Thinking of you
Why can't you be here?
