Also, no sensible politician will outrightly go against everyone in the country, country needs investors, money, businesses, courts and media to function. If you go on saying that everyone besides you is corrupt and anti-country then you are not only creating troubles for yourself but also for the future by making investment opportunities go away and hurting the investor sentiments(which btw is already reflecting on our economy).
I think it is critical to keep a balance in any campaign, dont just criticize for your own good.

New Delhi: Already under fire for rising dengue cases, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is in the spotlight now for the money spent on its official website. An RTI query has shown that in the last eight years, the MCD has spent close to Rs 12 crore in making its website and even then the site is yet to be completed.
"I asked MCD officers to give me some information but they told me it's in files and the website is still not complete. It was then that I filed an RTI," said RTI activist Harpal Rana. The municipal body, however, blames its trifurcation for the delay. "It's a big office and there is too much work, also trifurcation is in the process," said the MCD PRO.
But IT experts have a different opinion. "A website like this shouldn't take more than one to two years and it shouldn't cost so much," said a tech expert. The RTI query, however, has raised a few questions such as - Why was there such a long delay in completing the website? Why was so much money spent on making the website?

Whistleblower IAS officer in Haryana shunted out after exposing dubious land deals


Chandigarh: A senior IAS officer in Haryana, who exposed widespread irregularities in land deals, has been transferred out of his department in less than two months. Ashok Khemka, who was Director General, Consolidation of Holdings and Land Records, had highlighted how panchayat land in Gurgaon worth several hundred crores of rupees were transferred to private real estate companies. He has alleged that the Congress government in the state shunted him out as a "punishment" for acting as a whistleblower and exposing corruption within his department.

"It is shocking to learn about my abrupt transfer...this is deliberate and malafide to punish me due to some vested elements in the political-bureaucratic hierarchy affected by the expose of the scams in consolidation of land holdings under the exercise of powers," Mr Khemka said, in a letter written to Chief Secretary PK Chaudhary.

The senior IAS officer seems to be paying the price for standing up for farmers of seven villages in Gurgaon who are trying to get back 19 acres of panchayat land along the Gurgaon-Faridabad highway from private builders. Mr Khemka had, during his 50-day stint in the department, detected how bureaucrats had colluded with politicians to acquire prime plots near highways which were subsequently sold at grossly undervalued rates to realtors. He submitted an affidavit in court that two of his predecessors had side-stepped norms to benefit builders in 2008-09.

Sandeep - Understand one thing and you will never make mistakes with such comments: A comment made my any top leader or any party, BJP or Congress or even Lalu is backed by a deep research and homework by their PR team and they know what a vague statement like this can result into.
Another job of those researchers is of checking the reliability of the source, which in this case was govt. of Punjab itself to counter any allegation, like you and other people who didnot care to research a bit before making them.

Even Modi's vague statement of 1880 crores was based on a local press clip but it was a different issue that he did not check the credibility of the source.

Vikas Bhai, i have doubts if Minister's like Digvijay Singh has any PR Team working behind. An Honest man has to defend for himself, his credibility is questioned time and again. Whereas ministers neck deep in corruption have the audacity to challenge & prove them guilty. Like Jit mentioned above, 71 lacs is no scam at all. A scam means atleast 100 crores. Then, why did the Congress played havoc to Kejriwal for a petty sum of 9 lacs. Even when these ministers stay in jail for more than an year, they come out & claim innocence. The society does not judges them. However, if a poor innocent man is convicted & he stays inside for a few days, the same society condemns him & hates him for a crime he never committed. The truth is we indians lack the courage to stand for ourselves. And, if somebody is trying to do something for the society, we try to judge them & find the reason why they are doing it. They must have some purpose behind. Good people still exist & that is the reason our country is still running.

to adress the point here, how many times have you heard Digvijay being sued for what he said or found factually wrong? Often his statements and sharply crafted to either deflect an already pertaining issue or draw more attention towards another issue and if you realise, the motto always gets successful.
