    While Jatts belong only to a few genetic lineages, yet seem to have countless gotras, and that makes one wonder why? Y-Dna test can tell one who one is related to, and how old that relationship is, based on those results one can easily ascertain the original gotra and the offshoots then can be dropped in favour of the original family name, and in my opinion that certainly need to be done. Another thing is that it will also expose the fake Jatt element, and how to deal with that is up to the community.

    The links basically were for those who claim that Indo Aryans are the aboriginal people of India, the Dna evidence does not support that theory at all.
