Haryana Government has decided to set up a Site Museum and Interpretation Centre on Six Acres at Rakhigarhi village in Hisar district.
The archaeological important site has shown the remains of one of the largest city of the Harappan Civilisation found during the excavations, so far.
The decision was taken during a meeting of Chief Minister, Haryana and the Chairman of Indian Trust for Rural Heritage and Development at Chandigarh.
The Chief Minister would be holding a meeting with the Union Culture Minister shortly so that the excavations at the site could be carried out soon in consultation with the Archaeological Survey of India. [For details, log: www.tribuneindia.com p.7 May 31, 2013]
