This is the merit list of UPSC Asst cmmndt CAPF paper.As expected quite a good number of Jat guys made it to the final list.
I couldn't make the final cut but happy to see fellow brothers.Ek to mera hi gauti hai and there are 2-3 guys with whom I gave physical and medical.

Just want to add another name..Me too selected for Assistant Commandant and most probably in CRPF
Missed the merit list by 3 marks but somehow managed to sneak through the door by reserve list.

I was under impression that at least the "paramilitary and defense forces" are topped (scored high in merit and number), however, I found very few Jat names in the list. Has this sheen of Jats diminished; or was I under a wrong impression?

I was under impression that at least the "paramilitary and defense forces" are topped (scored high in merit and number), however, I found very few Jat names in the list. Has this sheen of Jats diminished; or was I under a wrong impression?

Can't say that it diminished,specially if we talk about this particular exam.
If u go through my first post I already mentioned that quite a good number of Jats got selected in original merit list which initially was a surprise for me.So overall prima facie it looks like Jats dominated the selection.
Maybe you found very few Jat names in the reserve list.Also there were many who,though cleared written n physical,couldn't make the final cut.
