Why should we? He is not Modi who claims to be a magician and has a can-do-anything attitude. This thread is not to discuss him, infact there isnt any thread to discuss him as a PM candidate. Neither the media nor the congress project him that ways like BJP does for Modi.

Why not he is the Vice president of the ruling party , his words are the voice of national party and if he is such a non serious person then how can national and ruling party give him such an imp post ???

Because a Congress Spokes man openly compares Modi with Rahul Gandhi on his web page (http://hamaracongress.com/2012/07/11...#comment-13971) with a tag isn't the choice obvious (as a Pm quite understood ), promoted and celebrated by Congress Spokes person anyways let it go . You are saying Modi has a magic wand may be providing uninterrupted electricity in a big state in India is not less then a magic . Yes its is off topic but being a young VP of the ruling congress party and as per history after independence he is already qualified as a future PM of India and as far as media is concerned they are business houses they want to telecast what people want to see and if they want to see Modi or like to see Modi , media will show him or discuss him and I have nothing to say about Vice President Rahul Gandhi and and if they discuss Rahul as PM on any talk show it will become a comedy show so no serious News channel dares to discuss him as a PM

Gujarat did record an impressive average annual growth rate of 10.08 per cent between 2004-05 and 2011-12.
However, Maharashtra had 10.75 per cent, Tamil Nadu 10.27 per cent and Bihar showed 11.42 per cent in the same period.
While Bihar had the low base advantage, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu have been developed states for a long time.

During this period, Maharashtra grew a meagre 2.64 per cent annually; Bihar grew 6.76 per cent.

It is only a few days time more when the effects of this tumbling rupee would reflect/show on the essential commodities.

There is large scale manipulation/loot happening behind the scenes by some vested interests in encouraging the downfall of the rupee.

How can we forget the largescale windfall that accrued to the sarkari damaad when land/revenue rules were changed to favour his business (loot model) and in turn causing huge losses to the govt. exchequer?

Congress knows that it cannot come to power again by playing clean. That is why it is mopping up all the money from the common man's pocket that it can to be used to play even more dirty politics before and during the next elections.

Falling rupee vis-a-vis the dollar is part of that.
