Ankit Tomar From Bajeetpur in Bagpat district Uttar Pradesh became Martyr of militancy on 3.1.2017. Constable Ankit received bullet injuries in a police encounter at Kairana, Shamli and achieved martyrdom. He made supreme sacrifice at the altar of duty. Emotions ran high in village Wajidpur of Baghpat where the slain UP police constable Ankit Tomar was cremated on Thursday morning 4.1.2018. Tomar died battling fatal bullet injury in d head he received during an encounter on Tuesday night.
