    How to Fight and Conquer Infections

    In this fast changing environmental atmosphere and fast moving life, one often

    falls prey to one infection or the other. The purpose of the thread is to solicit and

    share expert opinions of the participants.

    The general resistance against the infection depends chiefly upon nourishing diet,

    regular hours of rest and exercise and optimistic cheerful outlook on life.


    Those who take a well-balanced nourishing diet and have regular hours of rest

    and exercise usually have a fairly good general resistance.

    In addition, taking good care of personal hygiene, washing fruits and vegetable
    with mild soap solution, eating well cooked hot food, exercising regularly - I think all these help one to remain healthy.

    About diet habits, scientific studies have shown that animal proteins [milk and milk products, eggs and meat] are the most important articles of diet concerned in growth and tissue-repair of the body. In addition green leafy vegetables and fruits are a must part of the staple food.

    If one gets pure milk and milk products in sufficient quantity, use of eggs and meat could be avoided.

    Sometimes body becomes weak in many ways, e.g., by prolonged under-nourishment,

    or by some disease, or by prolonged mental worry or physical strain leading to undue fatigue.

    Any or all of these things can lower the resistance of the body to fight and conquer the

    infection, when by chance the seed of any infectious disease falls into such a body.

    Therefore, utmost care must be taken to see that to keep the disease away nourishment

    of the body is maintained at all times and at all costs.

    Prevention is better than cure, convey the right message in such cases.
