Now, vigilance probe against Khemka over gram purchase


Chandigarh: The Haryana government on Friday asked the Vigilance Bureau to begin aprobe against whistleblower IAS officer Ashok Khemka for alleged irregularities in the purchase of 10,000 quintal moong (green gram) during his tenure as managing director in Haryana Seed Development Corporation (HSDC).
DG of state vigilance bureau Parminder Rai said on Friday that the bureau will conduct a regular inquiry. “We would initiate the probe soon,” Rai said.
Khemka had joined HSDC on October 15, 2012, within hours of his cancelling the mutation of a deal between Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra and DLF during his tenure in land consolidation department. While in HSDC, Khemka had stopped the system of supplying seeds to the corporation sourced from private firms. He also minimized the role of brokering firms and set the condition that the seeds must be produced and certified in the name of the supplier. However,inhis comments to the government, Khemka rejected the allegations.



Really its very depressing that we the people of Indian Democracy cant do anything but can be a mock spectators of the wrong doing of our so called Public Servants (Politicians). The leaders of India Rising (Khangress) have far left behind the termites which could not eat up wood in such a fast pace.

The officer, who did not care for establishment, worked honestly and independently in land scam( Robart case) and got wide support on JL too. Now he has been transferred on PROMOTION from Transport dept (where he was trying to curb corruption) to DG cum Secretary.......... The govt of the day in Haryana has done justice to a deserving honest officer.

अशोक खेमका ने अपने करियर में 45वीं बार हुए अपने तबादले पर दुख जाहिर किया है अब इन्हें परिवहन आयुक्त जैसे अहम पद से हटाकर कम महत्व वाले पुरातत्व और संग्रहालय विभाग में डीजी और सचिव लगाया गया है। ट्रांसफर के बाद खेमका ने ट्वीट किया है कि , 'हद में रहने की गंभीर चुनौतियों और निहित स्वार्थ के बीच ट्रांसपोर्ट डिपार्टमेंट में भ्रष्टाचार से लड़ने और सुधार को लागू करने की पूरी कोशिश की। यह वाकई दर्द भरा पल है।'

खेमका को पिछले साल खट्टर सरकार ने ही ट्रांसपोर्ट डिपार्टमेंट का प्रभार सौंपा था। पर जैसे ही खेमका ने दिसंबर में जिला अधिकारियों को ओवरलोड मामले में गाड़ियों पर पेनल्टी लगाने का आदेश दिया पर ये आदेश माइनिंग लॉबी जिसमें राजनीतिक रूप से शक्तिशाली लोगों हैं, को पसन्द नही आया। इस मुद्दे के साथ ही खेमका और ट्रांसपोर्ट मंत्री मंत्री रामविलास शर्मा में भी खुलकर विरोध सामने आ रहे है| इन्हीं सब की परिनीति खेमका का ट्रांसफर है। विधानसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी ने कांग्रेस के खिलाफ भ्रष्टाचार के साथ साथ खेमका का ट्रांसफर भी एक मुद्दा था लेकिन बीजेपी अब खुद ही वही करती दिख रही है।........
