Temporary fix:- roz ka duad lagaanaa, dekh-dekh ke roti khana, kab tak kar sakta hai aadmi? Also, which metabolism rate is good; fast or slow and to control it? How can one make sure that his/her metabolism rate is optimum?

    100% correct. Sounds so easy but so difficult to practice. Where to begin and how to begin is a big question. Next big issue is how to maintain. Maintaining sound metabolism is a complete package in which everything matters. In my view the first and foremost is your work and the associated problems. How to choose a work/ vocation which does not come in way of healthy living. Type of friends/ collegues too come in the way of healthy living. To be very honest, almost anything and everything affects our healthy living. My few simple suggestions would be;

    1. Live like a "Molhad Jat"
    2. Discharge your daily responsibilities well before sunset so that you can have tension fee evening and sound sleep.
    3. Don't hatch conspiracies against others as that will steal your sleep and keep you mind busy all the time.

Yup, its all about Metabolism, keeping the weight in check, that is.

There are many things that determine the function of metabolism including genetics, diet and life style.
Things that boost the metabolism entail, regular exercise, eating 5-times small meals a day, some food also boost metabolism e.g. celery and citrus fruits/lemon, etc etc.

Molhad jat term is used for a Jat who is hard working, carefree, who loves eating anything pure, who laughs at himself, who does not take anything to his heart, who is not interested in complicated world affairs, who doesn't care about his cloths and looks, who is very caring towards small kids and has many other simple good traits. Usually he gets up very early and starts his day from some hard work like cutting fodder for "dungers". Usually goes to bed quite early after day's hard work.

I am trying to develop is simple model which in my view should help to live a healthy life. imagine our body as a temple and the soul/ mind like a priest inside. Like in temple one can not take anything and everything, same rules should be followed for our body. Lay down the rules which food can go inside and which can not. Like in a temple we observe prayer and "Aarti" timings, follow the eating timings in the same way. Clean the inner and outer sides like one cleans the temple. Take care of your body like a priest looks after the temple. This model should make it easier to understand the dos/ don't dos of good health. Hope it works ...

Very nice thoughts. How about feeding the mind in this temple? What should be the thought processes like?
I do believe we I.e., aatma, is on a journey (a journey of life that becomes easy or difficult as per our thoughts and through thoughts, our actions) through our bodies.

Atma (the passenger) and the body (vehicle) both are equally important. Safety and comfort of the passenger (Atma) is closely related with the condition of the vehicle (body). Only other variables are the choice of path and skills of the driver (mind). Good and well trained driver will know how to take care of his / her passenger and vehicle and of course the best route to the destination. He also knows the maximum load his vehicle can take etc and etc...

Hard to generalize for all, as different body types, different work cultute, different routine etc etc. Permanent to kuch bhi na hai bhai...its a gradual process....Jab jaago tab savera hai.....Your body will tell you ki metabolism optimum hai ke nhi

Exactly. One has to develop the habit and skills of listening to the body and its language. Feedback of body and mind helps to deal with many health issues. Thirsty or not, drink at least 7 glasses of water each day. This alone will address quite a few number of health issues. Importance of water I am telling with my own personal experience. Please take this advice very seriously. Lot has been written about water's importance, However, we tend to ignore it. Start you day with a glass of water and not tea of coffee. Have other drinks only afterwards.

Thik kahi Kirshan! Kasoota complex taapic sai yu to. Koon karega itni ghaat baadh. Sidha sadha hisab howai to bhi kimme kar le.

    Summary

Metabolism refers to all the chemical processes that go on continuously inside the body. Your metabolism is influenced by your age, gender, muscle-to-fat ratio, the food you eat and physical activity. Your hormones and nervous system control your body’s metabolism. Hormonal metabolic disorders include hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. Genetic metabolic disorders include fructose intolerance, galactosaemia and phenylketonuria (PKU).

    Two processes of metabolism

Your metabolism has two parts, which are carefully regulated by the body to make sure they remain in balance. They are:

    • Catabolism – the breakdown of food components (such as carbohydrates, proteins and fats) into their simpler forms, which can then be used to create energy and provide the basic building blocks needed for growth and repair
    • Anabolism – the part of metabolism in which our body is built or repaired. Anabolism requires energy that ultimately comes from our food. When we eat more energy than we need for daily anabolism, the excess is stored in our body mostly as fat.
